What are the odds of Terry Glenn coming back?
I guess I've been naive about the situation.
I figured that since he returned last year at the end that he would be ready to go this year.

Mickey just said on the radio that his return is 50-50.

Yeah, this is the kicker. He's been injured the last three seasons. He has a degenerative knee condition that he's had surgery on twice now. He chose the more dangerous surgery in an attempt to come back last year. He sucked up a roster spot for no effect last year as well.

Anyone who counts on having him in playable condition is making a bad bet. The guy was a trooper, but....

I agree. I expect Glenn to be at camp I'm just not very confident that he can make it throughout the season. The nature of his injury is not going to improve so it comes down to how much discomfort and pain he can withstand

The fact is that he doesn't actually have to play to get paid. He just has to try.

He's only making $1.74 million next year.

I'd say there's an 80% chance he plays in week 1. From there it's week to week obviously.

Even if he makes it out of camp, I think they will have to use him sparingly. I don't think he will last more than 3-4 games as an every down starter. Give him 15-20 snaps a game in key situations and maybe he will be useful and can contribute.

Given the fact Jerry was trying to acquire a veteran WR opposite TO and still hasn't ruled out doing so this Summer, I'd say the odds are even if he comes back they are thinking of him as a #3 WR.

I am going to say very slim. I think he will try but I think during camp at some point he is going to realize that his future health is more important than 1 more season.
