Ask me again after next Months mini-camp.

On that note, Romo's return chances are 50-50, also. As are TOs. And Bob Hayes's.

arglebargle;2072480 said:Yeah, this is the kicker. He's been injured the last three seasons. He has a degenerative knee condition that he's had surgery on twice now. He chose the more dangerous surgery in an attempt to come back last year. He sucked up a roster spot for no effect last year as well.
Anyone who counts on having him in playable condition is making a bad bet. The guy was a trooper, but....

I saw nothing impressive from Glenn when he did return last season. He didn't look anything like the same guy. And he added nothing to the offense.
In fact, I would say that putting him in the lineup actually detracted from what the team had been doing.
And I think the 'Terry talk' is all about damage control.
I think the team and fans both had their hopes up regarding a trade for a veteran receiver. Now that it hasn't happened, we get all the talk about the 'progress' the young guys are making and how Glenn is 'working hard to return.'
Meh.
I think the receiver positon is the one potential spot for this team's achilles' heel.
If anything happens to (or regarding) Owens, this team is in serious trouble.
A move needs to be made for another receiver.
JMO, but I'm glad that didn't work out because he is done. Dude has a messed up knee just like Glenn.BrAinPaiNt;2072634 said:People forget but they had Javon Walker until Javon changed his mind at the last minute.
NorthDalal;2072652 said:"Why so negative? It's not damage control, and we haven't failed yet--It's May--remember. In late June, when Roy Williams/Chad Johnson/ Anquan Boldin are leaking to their favorite reporters that they may not show up for Conditioning/Training Camp etc.
He was high on Glenn returning long before that. He's been high on him returning all offseason -- which only makes sense considering he played the last 2 games.bbgun;2072683 said:Of course its damage control. When it became clear that no "wow" player would be jetting into DFW, Glenn's name was floated at Jerry's pre-draft press conference as a way of softening the blow. That "trial balloon" was not well-received here. If Jerry wants us to believe that Terry's knee is sound and he's the #2 guy, then all he has to do is stop sniffing around other receivers. I for one hope we're being scammed.

That's just me.
