What happened to him?

I thought he was significantly better than Hoffman.

Did he decline Cowboys practice squad or did they not offer him a spot?
He sucks like i told you and americanliarcowboy from day #1.

I agree with this. Farniok was way better than Hoffman, especially run blocking. I thought he was good enough as a backup. Now they are really stuck if Biadasz goes down with an injury. Hoffman struggled against backups, what is he going to do against starters. Harlow got cut by the Giants after less than a month.
Farniok sucks. So were stuck with Biadasz the pro bowler? :lmao::lmao::laugh:

You sound like americanliarcowboy that lost every center argument we ever had. Lol

Never was very high on Farniok and i think the Cowboys finally admitted it to themselves and cut his arse. That group of below average linemen are being replaced by a new, young, hungrier and more talented group. Not gonna mention names but you know who they were... Good to see.
He sucked from day #1. It was obvious.

He was a 7th rounder in 2021. He was unclaimed after he gets waived. He may become serviceable one day but he is a fringe NFL player at the moment.

why would he have been told he was going to be the starting LG? That makes no sense. The coaches were pretty set on the left side coming into camp.
That's not true they were saying if still wasn't ready that Tyrone would move to right tackle Tyler would move to left tackle and someone else would have to be left guard

But we knew going to camp that Steele was ready. Didn't even start on PUP. Your post makes no sense.

His upside over the preseason was holding his won against 3rd stringers. He was technically okay but he simply does not have the functional strength to compete in the NFL.

That's bull. Farniok played very well as Center against the Raiders. He certainly played better than Hoffman. Something must have happened behind closed doors when Farniok was told he was being cut is what I'm thinking happened.
That's an interesting theory. That, or there's something personal before this. Because it really does seem like Hoffman is getting preferential treatment here.

Sounds like Farniok was starting offensive lineman in his own mind but the Cowboys wanted to retain him as 2nd tier backup at best.

Farniok was a legend in his own mind except that he weak kneed and short armed his way off the team and out of Dallas. Looks like GM's on other teams don't see the legend part. He may have
to work at Walmart for a year or two.

Wasn't Farniok the one getting pushed around in 1 on 1 drills etc?

Seem to remember a clip showing that on here. Coaches don't wanna see OL get pushed around or wind up on the ground.

I think maybe Bass just beat him out at guard and also Hoffman at center.
Yeah.

Just got out worked.

Dudes get comfortable at work and quit pushing the sled.

There is always someone who wants your job,

Never forget that.

I think he can still play in the NFL.

Someone will pick him up.
