I still think the following

1. Romo is nothing but an AVERAGE QB
2. Wade Phillips is not the ideal coach for this team.

I am very glad that the team has "found for now" a formula to win. I hope we keep this grove. But that does not mean I now think that Romo is like Drew Brees, Brady etc.

What happens to the fools that are convinced that Wade somehow became a good coach because a team with enough talent to go to a SB is currently playing up to their potential in a 4 game winning streak.? What happens to the fools that have chosen to ignore the fact that this team was coached by the same guy, and failed miserably last year despite having SB talent?

I hate elitist threads

And what has Brees done? I saw a pretty lame int from him yesterday. He has no ring and throwing more picks than Romo.

Week 9.

Nobody's completely right or wrong yet.

This team has a lot to prove. That doesn't mean we cannot be happy of the signs of improvement, but I am not crowning them until it happens.

I agree with you dude.

We win 2 - 4 games.. wow.. Phillis is an awesome coach, Romo is the best.

We loose 2 games in a row.. kill all.. kill wade..

People should stand firm on their ideas.
That does not mean that people cannot make mistakes and change opinions.

I once again, am convinced that Romo will be an Average QB that will be OK for years to come. Nothing like Roger or Aikman.

And wade... I think he is not a good Head Coach. I hope we get somone with a different approach.

It is still early and there will be times when they deserves some criticism. I don't see the team going the rest of the way undefeated so you can bet they will be back.

However for right now...

Sorry no one can be happy about this team playing well we have to be a bunch tight butt sour pusses running around acting like this game does not count however many of these idiots wrote off Dallas after week 4 of the season. Fact is very few gave Dallas a snowball chance in hell of winning this game in Philly now that we have the same morons are running around acting like it means nothing. Fans like that no team needs

It's going to take a whole lot more than beating the Eagles for me to change my tune about Wade.

..in my book, he still sucks. A lot of what we are seeing, I don't believe is Wade. I think it's the attitude that the players have taken on that is a big part of the change. I give Wade some credit for calling the defense, but our defense still isn't a stifling defense. It's only a good defense.

This.

Agree number 2. Regards number one, in your mid Romo falls between number 10-20 best QB in the league? You dont think he is top 10? We part company there. He looks alot more comfy playing QB this year not having to feed egos.

Well if he's an average QB and continues to play as an above average one, I can accept it.

Wow Spectre, I could've sworn you were one of those naysayers in the past.

Nice post. :)
Not me.
Check the archives if you need to.
I gave Wade a little guff right after his hiring but that changed as soon as I saw him speak enough and take the field. I never have regarded Romo as anything but a good (if not stellar) QB and I was ALWAYS against the T.O. signing.
That's why I'm so emphatic about calling these people out. Because I'm not one of them but I constantly have to listen their B.S. before the story is written but once it is... they're nowhere to be found. It gets old.

Man I have not heard about a QB who has never had a QB rating below 91 considered just avg. That would mean the majority of QB's are well below avg.

Rainbow in the dark is one of my fave solos as well, done by Vivian Cambell.

The guitarist for Dio during the time the fools sailed away video was Craig Goldy...that white warlock guitar he played made me love the warlock guitar by bc rich.

My bad, then. I guess I was thinking of the Wade-as-marionette sig. :)

But I'm with you. When we lose, the realists let us know they're around, so there's not a thing wrong with threads like this.

Lol. Good memory.
That was exactly what I talking about when I said "right after his hiring". I made that picture but it was more to clown Jerry Jones's intent to sign someone he can control (which I still believe is a relevant dynamic of Wade's coaching status)
But I don't think I even made any negative comments about Wade or his coaching ability at the time (although I may have). But like I said, all that changed once I realized this guy deserved a little more credit than he was being given.

I could make (have made) some gripes about some of his tactics. But overall he is and has been a good coach for us.

My guess is that they're balanced out by those folks who whistle a happy tune no matter what transpires on the field. The same ones who are MIA after a loss, or who suddenly grow a pair after a few wins.

why is it always one or the other?

we suck or we're perfect?

i'm far from one who sings happy tunes, i'm just frigging tired of eyore walking through here all the time saying the same thing over and over and over again.

All I can do is speak for myself. I sure as hell don't start "Where are the Tony/Wade/Roy lovers now?" threads after a loss. Too bad the OP took the low road.

You might not start a thread, but can you say you never go into multiple threads already started and doing similar things?

Not nagging at you but it seems you are splitting a fine hair imo.
