what has happened to our offense?

Seriously. I think the coaches need to figure out what is going on w/ our OL. They can pass block great. They can't run block to save they're lives tho. It's UGLY looking. We get NO YARDS up the middle most touches.

It's been that way all year long....go back and look at my posts, I've been saying it for awhile...this o-line is NOT as good as advertised.

Yes, I'm happy we won, but it shouldn't have been as tough as it was today.

We have faced some good teams w/ some seriously big interior lineman. Im not surprised that we struggled up the middle w/ the Vikings tho. They have about the best middle D-line in the game.

What I wouldn't give to be 14 again.:lmao2:

Should I go for the cheap "But I swear she looked older" joke? I think I just did.

14 YO is a magical year in a young man's life.

At 14 I met Tara Donahue. The prettiest and most popular girl in school. Her dad hated me tho. He was Irish and had these lil hand carved statues all over his house. They were about a pint tall and he filled them all w/ scotch. Yeah - he drank to much. Anyways - I was over watching movies w/ T one night and I decided to have me a snort or 2 or 10. Anyways - I got to drunk and umm woke them up when I fell down the stairs.

He pushed me the rest of the way home.

I hated that man and he hated me. His daughter loved me tho. I smiled alot when I was w/ her around him.

He gave me the stink-eye constantly.

I think he's dead now tho.

I have watched pro football for 35+ years and this game was messed up.

35 years and you still don't know a damn thing about the game

btw, our O has been good enough to win all of our games, yes, our O was good in the Pat game, but was barely on the field

Romo probably really bothered by his hammy cause he sure didn't throw it much in the 2nd half. His lack of mobility probably lead Cowboys to spend much of 2nd half going with their running game with only 2-3 Romo throws. The Vikes bringing more pressure then I thought they capable and I think their pass coverage certainly better then I thought it would be.

Glad we now have a bye week so some of our injuried players can get healthy. Hopefully we will see Hoyte & Henry back in the lineup against the Eagles & any hammy problem Romo has will be gone.

BTW: Glenn can't get back soon enough for me and hopefully with his speed intact, etc.
Bingo!!! We have a winner,My thoughts exactly.

Yes it was, I think???, I'm having difficulty remembering that far back...:D

scaremo, if you think that was a secure win then you know nothing about football.

it's good enough to keep Romo clean for the most part, and it wears Ds down

it was supposed to be tough running the ball, easy to pass, we played the game that way, and of course shot ourselves in the foot

33 of 39 should get you 400 yds and 4 tds.
we could not run the ball untill the Vik D was totally gassed.
We came WAY too close to losing this game when we should have won by 20.

The Vikings have a good defense and are especially good at run defense.

I think the Cowboys showed alot of character today after the loss to NE last week.

it wasn't secure when we were down 14-7

but once we went up by a TD, I knew that was it since the Vike O did squat all game except for their opening drive

Our D showed up ready and able. The O and special teams not so much.

I was actually more worried about another fumble return or something like that then the Vikes being able to move the ball.

btw in situations such as these, I go back to when posters were screaming at Parcells for not attacking poor secondaries

and smile

also, has anyone noticed that in 2 games against opportunistic Ds, Romo has thrown just 1 INT? and that was in garbage time

not sure what the problem is, i loved our O today, it was the 2 fumbles and the mental error by barber that cost us points

I notice Romo is not feeling pressure lately like he used to. He needs to realize he can't just hold the ball so long. He was big at getting the ball out fast and early when the season started. The more and more I watch him the more and more he is waiting. That can be good and it can be bad. One of those sacks today was on Romo pulling a Bledsoe.
