What if Cowboys Lose Sunday?

Answer: There will be the same number of Dak Prescott related threads posted in the Fan Zone for the first time, within the first 90 minutes following the game, as were posted on the forum during the previous three weeks prior to the game.

Extremely negative. You can’t see that? Really?
It would be negative if I said they would lose

I said they would win. The repercussions for the result of the game isn’t a positive or negative. It is what it is

This is absolutely false. Nice try

In what universe outside the wild speculation of Get Up and First Take did that occur?

(And the use of the term "lame duck" in connection with the current coach of the Dallas Cowboys is entirely inapt.)

His team went 12-5 and won a playoff game, an improvement from the prior 12-5 season. MM has never been on any "hot seat" in Dallas.

There is only one man in the world who can place Mike McCarthy on any so-called "hot-seat", and that's Jerry Jones.

Please cite one comment from JJ even remotely suggesting that MM's job was (or is) on the line this year.

(NB: "Lame duck" refers to a person serving a definite term, whose successor has already been chosen. Clearly not the case here.)

This just isn’t true at all. He still is not a lock to be back next year.

I’m not putting everything on this one game. If they lose I still like our chances as a 5 seed in the WC game. After that is where I’m mainly interested in concentrating.

Many fans and Pundits are taking the Cowboys being the 2 seed as a given.
I'm fairly confident they will win but what if they were to lose?
It would be the most cataclysmic moment for this franchise in recent history.
I can't imagine how irate the fanbase would be and if you thought the Cowboy haters in sports media were insufferable before, multiply that by a Billion!
McCarthy would have to be fired, Dak's reputation would suffer immensely and the franchise would be a laughing stock.
might as well lose

They are still in the playoffs regardless. It would not be a good prognosticator for them. But nothing will happen or be decided until after their last game this year, which isn’t against Washington.
the reason why they could care less what happens

If the Cowboys lose on Sunday, it's no big deal...

then we hit the road next week as the 5 seed. Probably go to TB.

It’ll suck. Then I’ll get ready for them to beat up on the nfc south

The more important question is, how would Commander fans feel about winning this game and losing their #2 pick standing?

There is always one fan or so that tosses this idea out. Because enjoying the season and possibilities seems to be too tough for some.

What if the 9ers lost their first play-off game, as well as the Ravens, and Dallas has home field throughout the play-offs, heads into the Super Bowl facing the Cleveland Browns? And drops 45 on the Brownies?

I am truly surprised there isn't a suicide hotline directly to one of the MODS to talk people off the ledge.

Reality, maybe this is the next improvement for this site.

If they lose the next two games, nobody should be safe. QB included.

I will go as far to say there's a real possibility MM gets canned if they lose the next two.
