I can't prove I'm right but you can't prove I'm wrong either. They lost. First game.

Not one bit? That doesn't make sense the entire game would've been totally different. Maybe Dallas loses by more too tho
Thank youWhat I'm trying to convey is that we would have lost anyway, despite Romo's presence. If it pleases you to think otherwise, so be it.

Just read a report that says Romo wants to face the Cowboys next season...not surprising at all if anyone knows the competitor Romo is...

Sometimes in life people are just blinded and there isn't anything you can say for them to see the light. Don't worry though, when our 2017 starts and he isn't on the team, they will get over it fast. He has barely even played in 2 years and people still want him to start for us.

I don't disagree with this post. But I rewatched the 2014 gb playoff game and I actually came away with the thought romo was way too cautious and missed open guys by playing safe. If we play safe and pound zeke and improve the pass rush I think dak is the right guy Bc of his mobility and pocket prescience(stepping into hits whereas romo HAS to avoid hits).Had we started Romo it likely would have been a repeat of the Carolina game in 2015. Romo starting wouldn't have prevented us from getting behind by 18 points because our defense couldn't stop the Packers from scoring TD's on their first three possessions. Starting Romo wouldn't have prevented the 15 yard penalty that killed one of our drives. Once we got behind by a couple of scores, Romo would have pressed trying to bring us back which would have led to INT's, sacks and the wheels coming off and a complete blowout/debacle. No way do we come back and make a game of it with Romo.
He's not as poised at Dak, he presses trying to do too much which has been his history in do or die games in which we've fallen way behind in. Instead of safe, smart throws he takes chances and it leads to mistakes that he compounds. He had one series under his belt all season and his lack of activity would have shown up having to face a red hot Aaron Rodgers who was dicing up our defense.

But in the most recent packer game romo probably could've scored a little more in the first half and helped us re-establish zeke early. Romo to dez vs whoever that ****ty cornerback was all day.
If Romo is playing for a different team when 2017 starts and if Dak struggles out of the gate with a much harder schedule next year, people will NOT be getting over it. In fact, it will be the complete opposite. Be prepared to start seeing post like this if the above scenario happens.
"Dak was a one year wonder and we traded the wrong QB".........you know posts like these are coming if Dak struggles next year.
Hey. If Romo himself cannot convince you, no one will.Which ones?
From the press conference when he said he's putting the guys on the team Above his ego? This would be that same edict.
If he's so bad and brittle I'm sure dak wouldn't mind showing the old fart what's what come august
The result lacks all humor and I disagree with the reward being deserved for the team and fans but the Do Not Mess With Chemistry Or Else hypocritical argument you've alluded to is undeniably and unquestionably true.Jerry wanted to and did say that for the longest time, but I think the media pressure finally got to him. Heck if I was Jerry and every time I turned on the TV somebody was screaming, "Jerry Jones is going to mess everything up!" then I might have wavered too. The funny thing is they ended up getting the same one-and-done reward that everyone was so sure was waiting for them if they switched back to Romo. A well deserved reward at that. Remember Jerry, those who end up listening to the fans end up sitting with them. Oops, I guess that doesn't apply to Jerry either.
He shouldn't be given a chance. Dak proved he is a starter in this league. He's also 14 years younger than Romo. Time to move on already.
Yep. Agreed. Its long overdue to move on.More interested if we can get picks for Romo than wondering "what could have happened." Let's move on, seems like the Cowboys already have.
Pretty unamerican not to be given a chance. That's actually age discrimnationHe shouldn't be given a chance. Dak proved he is a starter in this league. He's also 14 years younger than Romo. Time to move on already.
