More wins. Let next year sort itself out. Anything else is rooting for your team to lose, and that’s super bush.

Simple.....get rid of the coaching staff. HC and coordinators have no innovation or winning pedigree. I'd take Hue Jackson as an OC in a second.....and tell Kellen Moore we don't need you as QB coach.

They went 3-5 through the part of the schedule where a better coached team would've gone 6-2 or 7-1 to position themselves to still make the play-offs if they went .500 the rest of the way. This sad sack team is going to limp to a 3-5 win finish, with a likelihood of 3 if they go 0-5 over the next 5 games.

Maybe. What’s your point? This justifies rooting for the Eagles this week?

I'm not rooting for the Iggles. I'm just not going to be mad if we lose because I'm no longer emotionally attached to wins and losses under Garrett. He's made me numb to it.

I’m not really looking at Sunday at this point. I’m looking at 2019, 20, 21, 22 etc. much more important than the current coaching regime and the zero hope they bring every season.

What's best for the long term future would be for Jerry to check out.

don't dismiss the possibility that the players aren't just as disgusted with the coaching as are the fans. they just can't publicly state their opinions. never heard witten critize his buddy garrett until the Monday night game. same for romo. we lose 4 of the next 5, possibly 5 of 5, and garrett won't be here next year.

Yea but those checks still cash on Tuesday every week after the game. Winning just makes it more fun.

As far as Garrett. I’ve always said he’s only survived because he’s prevented us from collapsing. This season will be no different.

I thought we were going to collapse last year after losing 3 straight without Elliott but we fought back to make it interesting.

I'll take OPTION C- Cowboys win Sunday night in Philly, move to 4-5, and then fight their way to 9-7 and barely make the playoffs.
With parity and the way teams catch fire at the end of the NFL season, who knows what will take place.

How about D, every Jones gets imprisoned for tax evasion and They're forced to sell the Team.

Other than that : Sadly, A.

I hate to lose, but We need a decent HC, OC and QB, Joffo the Clown seems to be the only Person on planet Earth who thinks what We have is NFL quality, if it takes major suckage to hammer that message into his stubborn head, then so be it.

Hey, at least Chelsea are going well.

Joffo the Clown?

A quick multiple choice quiz for all my fellow loyal Cowboys fans. You must select either Option A, B or C and explain why your choice is best for the team’s long term future:

OPTION A- Cowboys lose Sunday night in Philly, move to 3-6, and go on to finish 6-10 or less, don’t make playoffs.
OPTION B- Cowboys win Sunday night in Philly, move to 4-5, and then fight their way to 8-8, but don’t make playoffs.
OPTION C- Cowboys win Sunday night in Philly, move to 4-5, and then fight their way to 9-7 and barely make the playoffs.

So which option would you choose and why?

My choice is option A, and for this big reason. Jason Garrett has had nearly 8 full seasons to show what he is. He is simply not a good NFL head coach. Mediocrity is his ceiling. Under these present circumstances with Garrett, the dysfunction with Jerry has only gotten worse. I’m sad to say, I actually think it’s in this team’s best interest to have a losing record and not make the playoffs to FORCE Jerry to make a move. I hate feeling this way as a fan, but I think it’s currently the only way we have to slap Jerry into getting a better HC.

What do you say Cowboys fans? A, B or C...and why.

I dont believe in losing. Even if my short term emotional reaction would like to vote for it.

The longterm answer is: find a franchise QB! Finally invest in it. We didnt do that for 25 years. And bring someone in who knows how to develope one.

Winning just makes it more fun.

Most teams are losers. And they still have a good time. Like up in the Dog Pound in Cleveland.

They had a blast down in the Super Dome waiting 43 years. Lion fans have never sniffed the Super Bowl and still enjoying it.

But I agree in your solution.

The only time I can remember wanting to lose was for the Aikman sweepstakes. Even then, I watched pulling for a win. I was glad we lost, but at the same time disappointed.

Currently, I want Garrett gone, but don't think I can want to lose. There's also the very real chance of getting a coach that's even worse.

The trurh is it doesn't matter if this team wins 3 games, 6 games, 8 games or whatever...Jerry isn't going to change the structure of this organization and until that happens, everything else is worthless
The truth right there.

Its not fun to face reality, so lets pretend a new coach matters. Lol.
