I would say 5 or 6 first rounders, an All Pro Player, and 3 or 4 3rd rounders would do it.

There is no case where an older Wilson or watson are not on the same level as a Dak in his prime.

What did Wilson need to win the SB? The #1 D in the NFL and the top run game in the NFL? Wilson was carried to the SB for the most part as a young QB. And what did he do once that magical D went away? Never even returned to the championship game. Cowboys beat them with Dak in the playoffs even.

Are you under some kind illusion that Mahomes or Brady dont have great teams and coaching around them when they win? Aikman didnt have a great team around him? List goes on and on.

Why do you think the Rams traded for Stafford? Stafford was the poster child of a lack of team success and putting up nice numbers. Rams gave up 2 first round picks for him AND Goff. Stafford was 34 I believe when the Rams traded for him. They drop Stafford onto a championship level team with the #1 defense and a good offense and poof championship. That same Rams defense falls apart after the SB and Stafford cant even make the playoffs.
Are we certain Dak is still in his prime? I’m not so sure. He is certainly not as mobile as he once was.

Both 49ers games he was crap.

The GB game was typical Dak. Play bad for 3 quarters, go down by a bunch, build a comeback only to lose, make Dak fans think I'm good because my 4th quarter stats while ignoring the whole game.

Mission accomplished.
Defense was on the field when that game was lost vs GB or am I missing something?

Before you can answer the question about Dak's trade value, you would have to come up with the most plausible scenario to where the organization would consider trading Dak. That is, both Dak and Rush would have to get hurt and Will Grier steps up and earns the starting job similar to how Dak got the starting job back in 2016. Then you would see the Cowboys field some trad offers and some teams offer maybe a 1st or 2nd.

I would love to see how Dak would perform if he took the helm at another half decent team like Detroit. That would be a good measure of his value.

Goff put up a rating of 99.3 in Detroit last season. Dak had a rating of 91.1.
And if a qb like brady came to this team, how fast would we have won a ring???????????????// lol

It's more likely that the Cowboys will double-triple down on Dak and way overpay him on an extension. I hate the thought of it as much as anybody, but that is what is most likely to happen.

I read an article of writer stating a team (rumor) would think about trading for Dak if he doesn't play well this season and make noise in the playoffs. Good or bad season, what is Dak's trade value in your eyes, what would you give as an NFL team to get him?
His trade value is 0. Hate to tell you all this but you don’t understand todays trade values. His contract is such that you would have to trade him along with a few picks to get anything of value. Dak and three picks may get you a first round draft pick in 2024 draft.

0 he can't be traded and why would he waive his no trade clause knowing his team will win any cowboys negotiations.

Anyone who thinks Dak would not bring a 1st should be banned from football in general. C'moooooooooonnnnn.
You could not even get a fifth rounder for dak. His contract is such that makes it impossible. It’s not about what you believe his value is. It’s about what’s in his contract.

I am not saying blow it up for a different QB. I do think they can win with Dak. However if another 2 to 3 years of playoff losses. They entire team would need to be blown up. To many aging players and high cap hits with all the new contracts coming up in the next few years.
Didn’t mean you in particular. Wasn’t clear. My fault.
