No, they can't give you a ticket for driving the speed limit. If one ever tried that with you, he should be reported.Oklahoma cops! They'll give you a ticket for driving 5 miles an hour over the speed limit. Then if you don't keep up with traffic because you're driving the exact speed limit, you'll get a ticket for that.

I'd send the ticket in with a "not guilty" plea, and point out that the officer gave me a ticket for obeying the law. The 5 mph thing is ticky tacky, for sure. They do it if you're an out-of-state driver because they know you won't contest the ticket. I also think it's bad judgement to give someone a ticket for driving 5 MPH over the speed limit. That's a trivial offense in a sea of more serious infractions.

I hate that, but it's often just because they thought the light would change soon, or they spaced out. Yeah, sometimes it's just a lack of consideration, but I've accidentally done it myself, so I can't get too upset with them...... unless it's obvious they just think they're too important to get in line.Another thing that I forgot which is near the top of my list happened this morning. Those people who block a right-turn line who goes straight!
As I was approaching a red light, it was a clear lane in which I would be able to turn right. There are three lanes at this light and there were two cars in the middle lane coming up to the red light which had just turned red from yellow.
This jerk in the second car in the middle swerves over in front of me in the right lane blocking me. Now, this particular light is a long one, almost 4 minutes. I sit there waiting to turn for 4 minutes, light turns green and he continues straight.....I was fuming mad by now and almost gave his bumper a little bump!
Have some common sense and courtesy people, bring a tad bit of awareness and consideration for other drivers. I never go up to a red light in the right lane if I am not turning right, especially if I would be one of the first three or four vehicles because I don’t want to hold up the lane.

Yeah, I would have let them know how I felt about that one. LolYea, it happens and I have done it too on the rare occasion. But, this light just turned red as we were all slowing down. He whipped over right in front of me, maybe 10ft of clearance......basically cut me off. This was an inconsiderate move and not anything else. It was a couple of young punks smoking something in a piece of crap from the late 80’s, a Honda I think. Yes, my blood pressure is still high!
So, to answer the OP, since I can only choose one thing........Every other driver on the road.
This is what gets me. Glad to see I'm not the only one.Even better are the people who complete the process of slowing down completely and then flick on the turn signal.
Back before I got tired of all the Radio Rambos and pulled the CB out of my truck, I'd get the occasional trucker who'd start talking smack to me because he wanted to move over into my lane, but I didn't hit my brakes and let him in. I'd say, "Hey driver, I didn't know you wanted to come over here.....If only there was some way you could've communicated that......You know, some kind of SIGNAL you could've given."This is what gets me. Glad to see I'm not the only one.
A turn signal is a communication device. I click on my turn signal before hitting the breaks. I do this to communicate to the drivers behind me that I'm turning. That's why I'm slowing down.
But one thing I do not do is ride in someone's blind spot. I'll either slow down or speed up so they can clearly see me.
And as a pedestrian, I'll never walk out in front of a vehicle unless we make eye contact first.
Safety First.
