There were 8 WRs last year with 50+ more targets than Cooper.
Yes, targets we’re a factor when evaluating production.
Targets went to Lamb so yes you do have to evaluate.

He got hurt!
You think because Jerry said he was available, now teams wanted nothing to do with him? It doesn't even make sense! Only one team was willing to pay the contract, that's the bottom line. Blaming Jerry is just nonsense at this point.
"Hey NFL you can get Amari Cooper for mere peanuts. Just a measly 5th rounder BUT you gotta pay what's left on his contract?"
The Cowboys got the bird from 30 teams! LOL Thanks but no thanks!

And the Chiefs and Packers got multiple 1st round picks for their receivers.
Durp.
Not Coopers fault Kellen didn’t do a good job getting a high volume of targets to him.
LOL There we go. He's not Hill or Adams. He's not even close. And those teams were willing to pay. Not a single team was willing to even give up a 5th and pay his bill never mind a 1st. That's just a pipe dream!
Blame who want to blame. Dak, Moore, McCarthy.. the fact is the #2 WR outpaced the #1 and at that point you have to make a decision.. and they did.
Neither of those teams’ owners blabbed that Hill or Adams were gone from the team. The news came out when the trades happened. The difference between actual GM’s and those that gave themselves the job.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself. Im sure there would've been a 1st on the table otherwise! lol When you're dangling a 5th and no ones biting switch that to a 1st and tell me how it changes?
It could just be rumor, but I heard the reason they didn't sign him is because of that contact and the fact that his team wouldn't eat it.In terms of draft picks? I’ve heard a 2nd rounder mentioned. The players’ contract guarantees $18 million for 2023.
And now he’s off to Cle playing for a run first team with a below average QB and will have over 1K yards and 8+ TDs. He wasn’t the problem and his price tag shouldn’t have been either.
Having a 1a and 1b would’ve been great considering 1 of them was on a rookie deal.

yet those who took the shots but still got sick didn't? whether you took the shot or not, once you got sick it really didn't matter you were missing time. getting sick during a pandemic doesn't seem to be a sound reason to hold a grudge against someone.
With Jerry's history of second rounders, I wouldn't be too upset if that was all it cost.Yes. But you’re still giving up a 2nd round draft pick to fill the void that they themselves created.
When you keep your mouth shut, the league doesn’t know that you’re giving away valuable assets. It’s not that hard to figure out.
This argument makes zero sense, you're talking in circles. If he's as great as you say, the entire league would certainly be interested. Specially when the compensation is a 5th rounder. He was traded to the only team willing to make that deal. That's not very hard to figure out either!!

When the owner of the team makes it known that they're not happy with a player, it automatically drops the price down. It's like selling your car after telling the potential buyer that you don't like the interior. This argument makes zero sense, you're talking in circles. His contract was a problem and every year would become an even bigger problem!
