Yep, run defense has been a problem for over half a decade. How long does it take to address it?
It's sad, but literally the same problem forever. I like the mentality of drafting Mazi, but sadly, he looks Taco-esque. Maybe he will turn it around, but they're barely putting him out there and when they do I don't see any kind of impact.

Prescott is in the tier of Carr, Cousins, and Garoppolo. QBs that will have games here and there that make people think they are on the cusp of elitism, but they are bubble top 10 QBs, but realistically top 15. You can win Super Bowls with these types of QBs but they have major flaws that keep them from winning it without immense talent surrounding them.

Jerry and McCarthy think Dak has the ability to be elite. It is what it is.
Fully agree.
That's exactly the tier and other calibre of quarterbacks I would rate Prescott with. Bubble top 10 but in reality top 15. It's very difficult to win a Superbowl with those quarterbacks as the roster has to be strong throughout and it's hard to produce that type of quality paying those quarterbacks what they earn relative to the salary cap.

I am really not trying to bash Dak here. I genuinely root for him but I've became very frustrated with his play over the years. And he has seemed to have regressed since his rookie season.
Let's break down Dak and evaluate what he does well and what he doesn't do well.
I say it all the time and I’ll say it again, casual fans who don’t understand competitive football blame dak Prescott… FOR EVERYTHING!

What you see on film you don’t see in game. You aren’t watching each individual wide receiver run their routes or what coverage is in what spot of the field. It isn’t until we review the footage we see that it’s more 30% dak and 70% the route runners or faults in blocking.

There has been COUNTLESS plays that dak has thrown the ball too high, too far right, too low, or just nowhere close, I agree. The man has an ARM, and unfortunately he is eh with accuracy. It definitely isn’t all his fault, and he definitely isn’t a bad quarterback by any stretch of the matter. Definitely not a top 10, definitely not a takeover QB, but not as bad as many on here make him out to be.

Jerry basically bought a Honda civic for $100,000

Wrong first of all it's three games into a rookie campaign second of all that game against arizona they ran it over and over and over to the outside and our defensive ends, LBS, and safeties could not stop it..

The nose tackle really is supposed to plug up the middle and then free up the linebackers and safeties but they took those out of the game because they used the edges all games to their advantage

again he is not an inside three tech he's a straight up nose tackle..

He’s not the same player since that serious ankle injury. He doesn’t run as much or as well, and he’s lost his confidence. Part of what made him so good was taking off and running. It added a great element to his game. He reminded me of Donovan McNabb the way he ran. He had 21 rushing TDs his first four seasons. He’s only had 5 rushing TDs since.

Not confident his best year was 2021 the year after his ankle injury just because he wasn't running as much he had 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions 4800 yards and we won 12 games.. Last year he came off a broken hand and for seven games in a row he had our offense in the top three in scoring red zone percentage and 3rd down percentage.

How does he not look confident after he threw that pick six against Philly and then went on an absolute tear did you miss the Minnesota game absolute tear I mean the dude was on fire for most of the year last year up until the last few games in which we had other issues along the offensive line the play calling we were meeting better defenses. And the story you guys are all off base and once again let me ask the question after reading all this nonsense..

Sure there's gonna be lots of games when we have issues last year with our wide receiver core our play calling injuries with zeke and Pollard and all kinds of other issues with rotating left guard and right tackle spots all year.. There's a whole lot of real actual football reasons that we can go back and look at that can affect the quarterback and the games that you think he's not playing well in... He may not run as much but he's actually a better quarterback than he was his rookie year...

What's wrong with fans?????????????????????????????

Dak has hit his ceiling as a QB. No reason to feel bad for him or wonder why he’s not better. He had a much better career than he ever could have dreamed and is now generationally wealthy. He peaked as a rookie bc they limited the playbook and had him on a tight leash.

There is nothing wrong with Dak. Dak is who he is and who Dak is, is a journeyman with very poor accuracy, poor ability to see the field, to make quick decisions, and make sound decisions. Why is a $170m qb throwing into triple coverage to lose the game??? Why? Is this an aberration? No? Dak is just a second or third tier Qb and he will not lead Dallas to a Super Bowl. Not now, not ever.

I would do that. Dak is where he is and he’s hit his ceiling. Lance is an unknown. Lance had one full college season and 4 NFL games. I don’t see why everyone is so quick to dismiss him without seeing him play a down for us.

Dak is in his 8th year, struggles to read defenses, struggles with TOs, plays bad in crucial situations, average to below average accuracy, average arm strength, is regressing.

I’m not saying Lance is the answer or the future but I am saying Dak is NOT the answer. I just assume move on and not resign Dak knowing Dak is not the guy. I would rather lose with a developing QB that struggles with reading defenses, TOs, etc. I’d like to play Lance and see what we got and if he sucks like the 49ers believe and everyone else believes then cool, let’s draft a guy. But Dak is not the guy. Dak is 8 years in and still making rookie mistakes. I’d rather have Lance or another rookie QB making rookie mistakes because there’s a chance Lance or a rookie will learn from those mistakes.
the WORST opinion i've heard all week and that saying a lot we are two and one it's still one of the top teams in the league, you want to put in our #3. most horrible idea ever i mean it has zero common sense let's skip over cooper rush and let's skip over RUSH, the fact that after game three when we're two in one. its one loss ..OMG worst post this week!

sure let's wave the white towel put our number 3 IN and start tanking while still very much in the race... this is so ridiculous i'm gonna have....rom the computer before i get benched...

The stats say otherwise, he was outplayed by someone in the league 5 years and just got his first win as a QB. Just like last year in the playoffs were he was outplayed by Mr. Irrelevant.
Qbs dont play each other.

Let me know when you figure this stuff out.

Anytime you want to compare daks stats to his let me know.
