The blue jerseys make for the best uniforms in sports.

While I loved Romo when he actually played, his fans have turned me into a hater afterwards. He’s the most propped up loser in the history of sports.

Zeke, even when healthy, is no longer a special running back in terms of being a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

He’s a short yardage specialist and a good pass blocking RB.

There’s been very few RBs that remain special. It’s hard to beat young legs. That’s why people like Dickerson, Walter Payton, Emmitt , AP and others are so respected

I’m not surprised by any Running Backs decline.....I was just surprised and disappointed that Jerry agreed to that contract.....I though the Cowboys were getting away from that.

I saw this somewhere and thought it would be fun to hear others opinions.

It can be anything, historical or current. I'll start:

I think Tony Romo might be the most talented Cowboys QB ever, but he was ruined by bad defenses, Jason Garrett, and injuries. I also believe that if we went back to him in 2016 we would've had a much better shot reaching the Super Bowl. I supported sticking with Dak at the time, because I was over Romo always missing time, but Romo was probably the best option that year looking back. It would have also gave Dak a great veteran QB to learn behind.
QB play wasn’t the reason we lost the game to GB in the playoffs though. I don’t think Romo overcomes the refs, the play calling, or could defend Jared Cook.

My unpopular opinion, and I received plenty of flack about it here, was I thought Tyron Smith should have been traded after last season. People tore into me like Nate Newton on a bucket of chicken wings. Well, here we are again, Tyron Smith is riddled with injuries again this year. Probably won't get much in a trade now since he is older and has a long history now of injury.

Here are 5 unpopular opinions I just came up with:

1.) Emmitt is the most clutch running back ever.

2.) The 90's offensive lines get way too much credit for Emmitt's success.

3.) Zeke was robbed of the NFL rookie rushing record by his coaches.

4.) Zeke was never allowed to become the back he could be, largely because of coaching, schemes, etc.

5.) Zeke is nowhere near washed up. Along with his bad knee, the play calling and the offensive line are making him look worse than he is.

Yeah but Zeke declined fast. I mean he might not even be a top 15 back anymore and it's only year 6.

You can actually like both Romo and Dak for what they have done for this team, it does not have to be one or the other...and as both were/are good Danny White did more with less than both.

Moose was not one dimensional..he help loosen up defenses with his pass catching..special teams etc...many times he would keep drives going with his catches out in the flat..especially in the beginning of games when teams were stacked to stop Emmit and Double Michael
..Moose would provide another weapon that defenses had to account for..far from one dimensional..he

Right on!!

Tony Romo's ONLY chance to Win or Loss a Superbowl was with Bill Parcells.

I have the opposite reaction with other fan bases. Most say that Romo always concerned them because they knew what he was capable of. Most were \ are lukewarm on Dak. Most didn't think he should have been re-signed. At least not at a price that prevented you from looking for someone else.

I think the media plays such a large role in forming 90% of the population's opinions. Only 10% (I'm just spit balling) truly understand what makes plays fail or succeed. I can't tell you how many times the average fan starts telling me how bad a player was & its straight from the game summary on TV. They have no context that yes the QB did throw an interception that sealed the game but they have no clue that there were three errors by their teammates that put them in 4th & 19 to begin with and that the QB made an unbelievable play to get the ball on the hands of the receiver which would have converted if he had caught it cleanly but instead it deflected & was intercepted. All the media cycle wants is a simple story with a hero or a zero and that's what becomes the "truth" among the masses. The truth is that there are generally a number of mistakes throughout the course of the game that determine the fate of a team. On a particular play you may be able to place the glory or blame on one person ... but even individual plays are often more complex than that.
I couldn't have said that any better.

Rowdy > Parsons

You all know it, but I'm willing to come out and say it.

Tony Dorsett, even at 36 years old, should have been given the opportunity to make a comeback with the Cowboys in 1990. It would have been great to see TD and Emmitt on the same team.
