HOF TE on the backside of his career but still playing at a high level (He is 34). I also think besides the crap WR's, Bieniemy may have had a bigger impact on that offense than we realize.

Flacco isn’t out playing him at all. He’s a guy no team in the nfl wanted to start for them. He’s completed 59% of his passes and has nearly as many ints as td’s. He’s not gonna be starting anywhere next year because actual nfl GM’s are a bit smarter

That may be true on Bieniemy. But his WR’s are really bad. Kinda feel for him. If they don’t add WR next year it’s gonna get ugly

I don't feel bad for him since he decided he needed a record breaking contract for himself, this is the team you get as a result. Patriot way was truly special with players taking less to keep the team as stacked as possible.

I think the problem here is that you already said you want to replace Dak with Lance so you can get a high draft pick in 2025.

Personally, I'd rather go all in for one more year and then take the hit in 2025 if it doesn't work out, setting up a 2026 QB draft. If you put another 2016 roster around current Dak, you're going to get one of those Joe Flacco seasons from him that you're so enamored by.

Joe Flacco had the best playoff run in the history of the NFL for a QB and it was needed as that Ravens defense was horrible for him in those playoffs. They gave up over 30 points twice in that playoff run.

Dak ain't EVER doing that.

And the Cowboys don't need an elite QB? In your eyes Dak is not elite so why not just keep him? All you do is talk yourself into a corner whenever someone comes in with facts that go against your weird, obsessive anti-Dak agenda.

Trust me, you hate Dak a whole lot more than most people here care about him. You can pick on Dak all you want, it's not hurting me. If the Cowboys find someone better, great. Right now they don't have that option. Dak gives this team the best chance to win.

Patrick Mahomes isn't walking through the door here. Or, someone even better, Joe Flacco, isn't either. :muttley:

The only thing you can say for 100% certainty that Dak is better at than off the couch Flacco right now is mobility.

And Dak's mobility isn't good at all.

Arm strength, brains, reading defenses, not making Amari Cooper look so bad he gets traded for a 5th, winning, not being a liability but instead a driving force.
