What makes you think owens will change?

how do u tell me that being arrested for possesion of drugs isnt a crime?

Arrests don't make it a crime, convictions do

Under your standards then Sean Taylor was guilty of pointing guns at people correct? I mean he was arrested for it.

yes and he is going to pay his debt to society

No contest
Not an admission of guilt, but an admission of the truth of the facts alleged in the complaint

therefore, Michael admitted that he had cocaine and sean admitted that he pulled a gun

its not like sean taylor is my idol

Then you are ok with Sean Taylor being labeled a gun crazed thug and a criminal right?

Lets see you type it. "Sean Taylor is a gun crazed criminal"

Being arrested for anything isn't a crime. People who are innocent get arrested all the time. Did you know that if you get pulled over by a Cop you are under arrest? Don't believe me? Try and leave.

Irvin did some dumb things in the past. Lately he's been a different person because people do change and they do learn. You asked how we knew Ownes will change. We don't. How do you know he's going to screw up again? You don't.

You're proving you don't know much about anything.

Wow.

One of the snippets you posed as evidence for Irvin included a no contest plea. Hmmm.

Now your agenda has become obvious.

TO respects Irvin THAT is why Irvin will help TO.

As for "proving" Irvin was a "crackhead" you haven't proven anything other than your lack of knowledge on the subjects you want to talk about.

First "crackhead" would be in reference to crack in which Irvin has never been arrested or plead on. So right ioff your description makes you look like an ignorant 14 year old, Oh wait you are.

Second you said he was arrested "numerous" times on felonies we are still waiting on you to show this is true.

Also Sean Taylor is a gun crazed criminal right?

Listen carefully nchhalada333. You're starting to get pelted! I could be wrong (I've been wrong Before), but there's one person here that you just don't want to have lay the "hammer" down hard on you ...and that's Hos.

Actually, you've made a point here or there, but it's not enough to qualify your concept. Pick your battles carefully ...and know when to fold em (reference to folding in a poker hand). You may be looking a royal fLush In the face!

I like the way you stand your ground though!

I agree, they would be idiots. I guess I just don't see them posting on this board. Perhaps I'm nieve. The fact that the poster indicates that now you have idiots doing this is inaccurate IMO. It is a means to and end. It is a shot and anybody who is not willing to just go with the signing without reservation. I could be wrong and if I am, then I would appoligize but I don't believe I'm wrong. Who are these posters who are hoping that TO fails misserably and the team along with him. After all, that is what would happen if TO turned out to be a bust. I guess I just don't see it.

You do realise we are the most hated of any sports team? so other teams
would not want to see us benefit from having T.O. and that is what makes
them idiots

Actually you're right ...
Michael Irvin Talks About His Arrest

(CBS 11 News & AP) PLANO Former Dallas Cowboys player Michael Irvin is answering questions about his recent arrest in Plano. It's public record that Irvin has had trouble with the law, but Monday during a radio broadcast Irvin said the only thing he is guilty of is trying to help his friends and younger brother.

When officers stopped Irvin for speeding on the Dallas Tollway they found he had an outstanding warrant for speeding from the Irving Police Department and arrested him. As police inventoried his vehicle they found drug paraphernalia, which is a health and safety code violation. Plano Police spokesman Mike Johnson said he didn't know what kind of paraphernalia was found.

On ESPN Radio Irving admitted to having the crack pipe in his car, but explained that it belonged to a friend. "Ya know he's struggling. I know he's struggling. I was like I don't want anything in my house around my kids, ya know so I patted him down and I took this pipe off him. And I thought to throw it in the garbage, but then people have gone through my garbage and I shred everything. And I put it in my car saying I'll take it up the street and... take it up the street later and throw it in the dumpster at the grocery store," says Irvin.

Irvin was booked on the two charges. He paid the speeding fine and posted bond for the drug paraphernalia charge and was released within two hours of the traffic stop.

Again, you're right ...it was not a "crack possession charge."

I'm actually glad, because I hope these incidents with the justice system do not impede his chances of getting into the HOF -- he deserves a place In the HOF!

It may be obvious to you all by now, but Michael Irvin is one of my favorite all time super stars ...if only he were an Eagle!

Took you long enough to ask ...read post #113; if that doesn't answer your question, ask it again.

I was not refferring to that arrest
I was reffering to the 96 crack possesion arrest and the other marijuana charges

btw, i learned my lesson for sure

That was quite a coincidence...Irvin getting pulled over for speeding at the exact moment he had a crack pipe in his car which he was throwing away for a friend. Quite a coincidence indeed. He probably only had the pipe in his car for 5 minutes total, and that was when he was pulled over....what are the chances of that...hmmmm...

Ok, you're on your own with this one.

I can only guess what you're referring to, but I'd heed the words of wisdom if I were you!:)

I don't know how this discussion got to Michael Irvin and crack cocaine...I don't want to read the entire post. But I will put my 2 cents in on why I think T.O. will change as a Dallas Cowboy. He won't. He will try his hardest to be a good boy and play by the rules and not cross Parcells, but I think ultimately he has a personality defect. He is who he is because of who he is...great NFL talent, one of the best wide recievers in the game, selfish, immature, terrible teammate. All T.O. all the time.

You know, it doesn't pay to jump in with crap when the natives are already pissed off.

Know what you're talking about before you shoot your mouth off. Irvin claimed to have taken the pipe away from a friend over to his house for Thanksgiving dinner. 5 minutes later huh? Want to see the dates of the traffic stop? Or would you prefer to pull your foot out of your mouth now and shut up?

The native ARE restless.

We're fighting with eachother.

Don't give us ACTUAL "enemies" to go after, LOL.
