What makes you think owens will change?

C;mon. We have Cowboy fans opting to compare negotiating with TO to allowing Bin Laden to take over the United States.

Surely we can allow our young Commander friend to compare him to a disease, no?
Oh alright, but just this once.

How is working with Jerry Rice a detriment to TO? I don't get the point you are trying to make.

TO's mentor since the blowup in Philly has been Mike Irvin. On ESPN Mike said he's told TO he was wrong to bust on his QB.

I'm not a huge fan of the man, but I'm going to give him a fair chance. So far, everything I've seen outside of the Dallas media agenda has been positive.

I even heard from one source (who will remain nameless) that Parcells is giddy about having a weapon like this.

i was trying to say that if a guy who doesnt have an outstanding criminal record and is one of the most respected players in the game cant help a man.....how can michael irvin?

Are you saying a Hall of Fame WR can't be a mentor?

Or are you implying that Irvin hasn't changed?

Or are you simply grasping for straws because the water is leaking out of the bucket so fast from the holes I shot in it?

Simple he has no choice but to change, their is nothing left for Owens but
Dallas and what could be his final pay check, this is make or break and even
T.O. knows he's under the gun

every eye of scrutiny is watching..idiots are praying for it fail..the way T.O.
gets his revenge, is helping Dallas win title 6, then all the morons can do is
eat crow and cry

You know, that brings up a good point...If TO is the MVP and helps us win a Super Bowl...I could see him get his ego back...become a PIA again...But then again we would have our 6th title.

LOL, then what ?

I'll just enjoy that 6th trophy.

Im implying that a mentor should have good character and not a guy who has been arrested numerous times for felonies during his playing career and during retirement

Character has nothing to do with being a mentor respect does.

Also can you name the "numerous" felony arrests on Irvins record or are you just repeating what you heard?

Teach him a little humility, that is how. Michael seems to have a good bit of it these days if you ask me.

People try to make it out that anti T.O. guys are hypocritical because a lot of guys in sports have done worse things than him and they don't get bashed as bad. For me that is not the case, it is not about what is worse, a thug or T.O. because of course I would take T.O. over a drug dealer or murderer any day.

I just think it is about old school team sports guys like me not liking the me first attitude of a lot of todays athletes and T.O. is just the poster boy for that.

I hope he changes, I really do and does not cause any problems and the Cowboys win and all that stuff but I will still be a bigger fan of the guys who go out and do their job and don't try to promote themselves. Thats who I want to root for and those are the types of players I would like on the Cowboys because they are my team.

THANKS!!!!!

Yeah I figured I would try it out over here....Figured I won't have the tendencey to go off on Giant fans as much over here....unless provoked....lol

People convicted of felonies go to jail son. Irvin made mistakes but he owned up to them and paid for them. In other words, don't come to a Cowboys forum spouting stuff about their players that you haven't got the gray matter to be speaking about. Take a lesson from the whale kid, the only time he gets harpooned is when he comes up to spout.

You want to feel the spear son, keep on blathering your nonsense.
