I see to recall seeing him say that in an interview somewhere, or maybe I read it in a book...yeah that was it. I read it in Hell Bent where Bayless recalled the situation where they'd spent all that time at the Pro Bowl selling him on coming to Dallas and it was undone in one moment when he looked over and saw Switzer sitting on the bench eating a hotdog.

I think it's the NFL Films "The '95 Cowboys" show that also has a segment on this very topic, with interviews of both Spielmann and Moose Johnston, lamenting how close he was to signing with us considering how hard he was recruited at the Pro Bowl.
