best way to shut up a critic is to beat him. it's cold in our part of texas after a warm week. great duck hunting this morning.

That's one thing Dak has done, win

It was 80 and sunny down here yesterday. Sat on my butt and watched football for 12 hours. Baylor game was great.

Because he's a player and not a fan. Most fans have never played, they don't understand that all that talk is just a show. These guys are men, men dont buy into all that crap. Hit him in the mouth, I guarantee he'll get motivated by that.

Players like Brady, Rodgers, and others who have turned in stellar days would disagree.

It's not just for show. Talking trash is enough to get you punched in the mouth and it's been proven. Dak is not that.

OP is legit obsessed with Dak Prescott.

We’re about to be in the playoffs, in a conference where we can definitely beat some of these teams. I’m just going to continue enjoying this ride and see if this squad can do any post-season damage...should be a fun season for at least a couple more weeks.

OR.....we can sit around and beat dead horses about “what concerns us” about this year’s Cowboys.

To each their own.

Baylor seems to be a big deal in Texas. I'm not from there but over the years I've heard chatter!

We all know your agenda. Why do you keep having to express it over and over and over........again.

Do you think we can recruit one of those guys? Maybe?

If not what’s your answer at qb. Average qb’s aren’t even easy to find.

Not obsessed at all. I dont want them to be one and done. I want the whole thing. Kills me that we may not get it because of the captain righting the ship.

It's been 20 plus years and I want more than what most expect.

I constantly hear most who know the NFL and the QB position, contrary to what some here say, comment on how the coaching staff doesn't move the pocket as much as they did in Dak's rookie season...how they (most of the time) run a different style offense and how they have basically stopped using his mobility as a weapon. It is being reported/said repeatedly that the "clock" in his head is slow because the staff WANTS him to go through every read and are almost insisting he become a prolific pocket passer when his performance tells you that is not the strength of his game. Tell me, if even half that is true...who is the problem?

One, the cowboys are not even a team that dabbles much when it comes to QBs. QBs may not be easy to find but the cowboys damn sure haven't given themselves the best chances over the years.

Even when Romo was here they never were serious about the future after Romo and have always passed up QB opportunities.

They dont put much thought into the recruit part. They prefer the bottom of the ladder and hope for the best.

At some point you want a QB to do more than just run around and get blasted. Dak style is not survivable.

And if you cant QB outside of that then you dont belong in the NFL.

There are only 3 QBs in the league that can QB outside of running and those guys are

Wilson
Watson
Mahomes

Cam newton has been exposed, is just as worse a passer than dak and will probably be out of the league within 3 years. You think Jackson will survive running around like that? He's probably the worse QB out of the 3 (cam, dak, jackson) and also dont throw the WRs the ball.

Both dak and the coaches are the problem.

Really? In a league that protects the QB to the point it is almost a disgrace?

Mobility didn't seem to hurt Tarkington, Young, Cunningham or Elway...in times where the position wasn't as coddled by the rules.

FYI...Wilson has a SB ring, which is what you seem to be demanding.
