I've got them third behind New England and Buffalo.
New England lost Revis - that is going to hurt them badly.

That's nonsense. Teams have changed, but they haven't necessarily improved. They're losing as much as they're adding, except for the worst teams in football.
And you won't because you had your mind made up before you asked the question in the first place.
You would have been better off asking the question than at the end of your original post say...Don't bother answering the question as it was a rhetorical question.
No, what's 'nonsense' is continuing to bang this failed drum. The Colts - who went to the AFC Championship Game, have markedly and significantly improved over where they were yesterday.
If that blows a hole in your theory, that's unfortunate..
I know what you were trying to say, that rushing out and spending big in the early hours of free agency is seldom a recipe for success, and you would have been right.
But that's not what you said.
How?
By adding a very old running back coming off an injury-riddled season? They still have an awful offensive line and only one wide receiver of note. Plus their defense got lit up like a Christmas tree last year. One signing or two won't fix that.

An 'awful offensive line' that they improved by signing Todd Herremans which you either didn't know or tried to gloss over to further your failed case.
They got better at running back, offensive line, and pass rusher. If you want to cover your eyes and pretend it didn't happen, that's on you. Just don't expect anyone else to put blinders on.
ima go against the grain here.
I think the saints got the better fo the trade and have the potential to ake it a good offseason.
They got a probowl centre and 1st round pick for an often injured tight end.
What would cowboys nation be saying if it had been us giving up fredbeard and our 1st for graham?
At the same time i think this trade adds to a really poor offseason for the hawks.
Yes they added graham but lost
1st rounder
starting lg
starting c
starting cb
starting lb
So what was a poor oline just lost its best 2 players in unger and carpenter.
With no 1st rounder to help rebuild the oline.
They added a god awful corner for 7mill cap hit
whilst initial reactions were wow seahawks got graham-when you sit back and look at it the saints won ths 1
Herremans is old and used up. Might as well have signed Flozell Adams.
And Trent Cole hasn't been a problem for Dallas to handle in years.
He's an 'improvement' over what the Colts had on their offensive line.
And who said anything about 'Dallas'?
We're talking about a team improving and in your desperation you want to run down some other alleyway.
You started this thread, were proven wrong a bunch of times, and yet still refuse to admit you were wrong. Cut your losses, move on, and spare yourself any further embarrassment.
Apparently, you don't comprehend the words "significantly" or "meaningfully".
You're on this little island by yourself, and you don't even realize it.

No, apparently, you think that your job is to provide that definition. Newsflash for ya, it isn't. And your interpretation is yours and yours alone. Nobody agrees with you.
I'm on an island? Seriously? Do you not see yourself for the punching bag you are here? The sheer number of people who have said you were wrong? How many times does it take before that sinks in?
Maybe you need a forum poll taken to see how truly wrong you truly are?
Uh...No he is not.
Okay, two of you. Maybe three or four or five. But I thought this was a really good discussion thread until stashboy decided to go Baghdad Bob and claim a victory in what wasn't even a competition.
A lot of people have agreed with me, made cases for some teams, and a few have disagreed. You're the only one who sees a prize fight here. I just asked a question.
My original post used the words "meaningful" and "significant". I don't see either in any team so far, just a whole lot of "different".
Now if Tampa adds Drew Brees, that will make things different. But so far, the good teams have mostly stood pat, while the bad teams have swapped spit. Seattle added a good player, but lost others and their first-round pick. And Graham is much easier to cover without good wideouts to worry about.
The good teams have signed a few of their own key players. Mostly though, they've sat out this whirling derbish so far.
