What TV show would you like revived?

Freaks and Geeks (if they could put that cast in a time capsule). Great show if you grew up in the 70's & 80's. Just recently found it on Netflix

I've had to correct many in my generation (late gen x/early millenials) who falsley assume it involved the era of the Vietnam War:confused: The Korean "conflict" and the Vietnam War really weren't stressed in public education and still aren't for various reasons;).
That is so sad. And pretty funny when you think about it. Do me a favor. Next time you run into someone who skipped history class, ask them to compare MASH with China Beach. That should prove interesting. :)

Lost
The Shield
Heroes (I think it is coming back though)
Seinfeld (that Curb Your Enthusiasm season left me wanting more)

Yeah, I could see a "SNL celebrity jeopardy" level of humorous ignorance in that discussion. So then when we invaded the Chinese....:D

The confusion happens because the subtext of the movie was about the Vietnam War even though it was set during the Korean Conflict.

Huh, makes sense considering the time of its release. Was that the norm in the show as well; relating the topics to the social commentary surrounding Vietnam? My mom watched (the show) it but clued me into the Korean conflict just-cause kind've thing.

Hahaha, I had a similar visual reference come to mind from a sketch show regarding the old "Battlestar Gallactica" series.

"Portlandia" on IFC:

LMAO! I can't breathe!

Are the Portlandia episodes as funny as this clip? I've never watched the show.

As a BSG fan, I know one thing missing from the clip. She should have said FRAG IT when the lights were turned off. :)

The show is very original and hilarious (consistently in my opinion) as seen in that clip. Gets good ratings from critics but is on IFC so not a broad audience. They have 3 seasons completed and are up for a 4th I believe, so it has enjoyed some moderate success but more of a cult following similar to "Delocated". It's on Netlfix too btw.

Below is a more eclectic display of their skits and some of my faves from the show:D:

oh my goodness. Those are great! Never had heard of this before

Yeah I came to say Firefly. Freaks and Geeks is another good option.

Jericho, wasn't a stargate fan, but really liked Stargate Atlantis, Better off Ted was great

Growing Pains, Punky Brewster, Silver Spoons, Knight Rider, A-Team, Family Ties, Fall Guy, Six Million Dollar Man...

Who am I kidding? Just bring back the 80s.
