I didn't read the whole thread, so this one may have been mentioned.

The first play I thought of when I read the title of the thread was the Giants TD run when the first-round pick didn't bother to even attempt to tackle the guy.

A lot of people, including many former Cowboys, believe the 2008 team lacked heart. That play epitomized "lack of heart."

It's been mentioned once or twice.

In 2007 Romo would buy time by scrambling to his right to allow the wr's time to get open. In the playoffs the Giants contained Romo by not letting him go that direction and forcing him to his left. During the offseason he picked up the Brady thing by standing tall in the pocket and keeping his feet still. He also developed a spin move to avoid the rush that sent him to his left where he is less effective (ie... the play against Pittsburg where he is going to his left and not being able to turn his shoulders to throw, thus
send a big rush up the middle they want Romo spinning and going left. Thats what happened against the Cardinals and thats how he got hurt.

Im not sure what play, but i know what game that got you started on your non playoff season..That game would be against my Commanders in big D..You guys were rolling 3 n 0,just beat greenbay in there yard..It look as if yuor team was gonna roll, then here comes the skins in town..Nobody thought the skins had any chance to win yet alone keep it close, and they stuffed your offense campbell and crew went up and down the field at will all day..The skins get the W in a game were the score was not indicative of how the skins dominated..If you cowboys fans look real closely, you will see your play and confidence was very shakey from that game on..

The Arizona game in general destroyed our season due to the injuries we suffered and the manner in which we got beat. I also think the Washington home game hurt. Not only was it our first loss after we started on such a great roll, it also showed the ineptitude of our offensive play-calling last year. Nine total rushes from our RBs with ZERO touches by Felix. One of the worst game-plans we've ever had.

Except all the confidence came back after the skins win on the road.

And, ironically we stole your manhood in washington and ended your season that night. Your offense never had a good game again.

The loss to the Commanders brought out frustration in Buffalo Bill in the post game, and after that it was a mess with that guy.

Just off the top of my head, I know we lost McBriar, Felix Jones, and Romo (three games and was never right when he came back). That game really hurt us and propelled the Cardinals for the rest of the season (even through they really stunk it up in a few games.)

As I posted, the Skins game at home hurt us not because of what the Foreskins did or didn't do, but because our own offensive play-calling was so horrible. It was that way pretty much all year. I'm confident that will change this year with Owens now in Buffalo. This year we will use our deepest position: RB.

To me the play where Romo threw the game ending interception returned in the Pittsburgh game, that was the nail in the coffin of our season.

If our Leader chokes, the team follows.

If we get any decent offensive production this year, and it doesn't have to be great..with our defense we will be very difficult to beat..My offense just has to be alittle better than average..LOOKOUT!!

Romo choked but Witten immediately pointed to himself that he went the wrong way but Romo Choked for putting the ball where he expected his target to be?

The problem is your offense is far below average. Good luck with that. :laugh1:

Yes he choked, and that wasn't the only time.

He basically lost his manhood to Philadelphia the last game of the year. I wish he had bothered to show up, it would've been nice.

If I remember correctly, Witten slipped on his route on that play.

Us cowboys fans and our fellow Commanders fans have been singing tunes like that for awhile.

There are always yea buts with both of our organizations.

We havent won a playoff game in 12 years and you havent come close to even a division title in nearly 10 years.

It would have been nice had a lot of guys shown up. As for choking on the play you described you don't really have a clue do you? The QB has to get the ball there before the rout is complete he can't wait and hold on to it until Witten gets to the spot the ball must be there ahead of time. Romo has made mistake he has also made some very big plays for this team. Ware has made many big plays for this team Ware has also had a habit of jumping off sides giving the offense a free play but I don't see anyone complain about that in large part because Ware makes plays as has Romo

Maybe you're the one that don't have a clue. I think Romo threw 3 interceptions in that Steeler game, your boy really showed up that day.

But I get it, everything the man does wrong is on someone else. Gotcha!

He has also thrown 81 TD passes in 39 starts he has produced big for the Cowboys and yes he has had bad moments and he has had pass rush all over his butt including the Pitt game because the guys in front of him could not do their damn job but a old vet like you knows what he is seeing. You have no clue what so ever

My man Roethlisberger had 0 interceptions that game. That's the difference between someone who helps their team go places, vs someone who is a pretender.

Yes he did and Dallas had 8 total ints on the season what is your point? Romo has made mistakes and I have said so many times he has also taken crap by idiots like you who do not seem to get he can't control when a WR or TE have ran the wrong rout and Romo actually did the right thing but is charged the int because of the mistake of someone else. Romo clearly has things to improve on but to overlook much of the good is a joke
