A lot of Felix' highlights are of him running in open field, while Mendenhall's highlights are him in a crowd, breaking arm tackles, the hesitation moves, the cuts.

I just want to make it very clear that we will live to regret passing on this kid. I know Felix is a good fit for us, but you don't pass on a lion to take a tiger.

The tiger looks nice and sexy, but the lion is the king of the jungle.

I'll cheer on Felix, and I think he'll have a good career while he's here, but the "Mendenhall looked too much like Barber" excuse is the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard.

I hope Felix proves me wrong, I really and truly do, but I can't help but feel we out smarted ourselves on this one.

I wasn't real happy when they took Jones over Mendenhall but with Choice on board it was the best way to go after all.

I don't know, I mean Mendenhall was supposed to be a top 15 pick and slid all the way down to #23, the Panthers picked an INJURED Jonathan Stewart who everoyn had rated lower then Mendenhall at pick 14 or wherever his exact number he was picked at, point is they picked an INJURED R.B. who most had rated lower than Mendenhall, so something is up, he SLID for a reason, I don't know the reaosn, but there has to be a reason a consensus top 15 back and who Mayock had ranked as the #1 R.B. even ahead of McFadden was the 4th R.B. taken and slid all the way to #23 with no one trading ahead of us to take him, if he was so good and people would have to assume there's a GREAT CHANCE of us taking him at #22 since everyone knows we'd be using a top pick in a R.B., don't you think SOMEONE, ANYONE would of jumped ahead of us at #21 to take Mendenhall if he was this can't miss franchise back everyone here is saying he is???????

Something to think about, if he was a can't miss, and the whole world knew we'd be taking a R.B. at #22, why didn't ANYONE trade up to #20 or #21 to grab him?

I wanted Mendenhall as well, but the more I think it through the more I am happy with the Felix Jones pick. Everytime I watched Arkansas play, mostly to see McFadden, Felix was out there making big play after big play. Him and MB3 are going to be a great one two punch.

Both he and Bennett give us a lot more versitility offensively as both can make plays in tight or spread out, defenses are going to have a heck of a time matching up with our personnel.

I don't know, from what I hear, the lioness runs the show and the King tows the line. The Tiger is..... oh heck, I don't know where I was going with that.

mendenhall is a stud, form watching the video, he is at least as fast as felix. with that said, you really cant dispute felix's numbers playing the sec. the guy has a knack of getting into open space, its uncanny. i think felix will provide a lot of big plays that mendenhall wouldnt have gotten but on the flip side, rashard might get some tough yards that felix wouldnt get.
