Did anyone see the quote from a scout saying Mendenhall is to analytical and he's not sure he'll be ok with taking the beating he will get, also said he's really stiff and just takes a beating. The quote even had one saying that they thought he MIGHT fold if things got tough.

That bothers me, now it might not happen, but those are pretty big negatives.

I think for all the talent the kid has, he's got more questions than Felix and that was the straw that broke the lions back and forced us to draft the tiger.

A lot of Felix' highlights are of him running in open field, while Mendenhall's highlights are him in a crowd, breaking arm tackles, the hesitation moves, the cuts.

I just want to make it very clear that we will live to regret passing on this kid. I know Felix is a good fit for us, but you don't pass on a lion to take a tiger.

The tiger looks nice and sexy, but the lion is the king of the jungle.

I'll cheer on Felix, and I think he'll have a good career while he's here, but the "Mendenhall looked too much like Barber" excuse is the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard.

I hope Felix proves me wrong, I really and truly do, but I can't help but feel we out smarted ourselves on this one.

Felix creates his own 'open space'... you will love this guy. He is the anti-Julius Jones (everything we ever hoped to see from Julius, based on his early flashes, but mever materialized).

Sorry but this video just emphasizes what all the knock are on Felix. All those runs were corner runs, gaping holes, and screens. No wiggle or creating his own holes, no running in traffice, and no breaking tackles. I know that we have to live with the pick. I just think Mendenhall, who is FASTER and bigger would have answered all of those questions.

I was surprised too, but it did not surprise me one bit that we still took Jones. We are not going to be a pound it down your throat team. We are a spread themm out team and make big plays.

That is why we took Jones over Mendenhall to me.

I need to dispell this thinking that Jones is soooo fast and that is why we took him over Mendenhall. This shows that Mendenhall is actually faster and that Felix has just average runningback speed....4.47 for gods sake! That's not exactly blazing fast for a running back. Good grief! Yes, I know he is our pick and that we need to root for him and I will but quit kidding yourselves thinking he is incredibly fast...he isn't.

Yeah but the tiger is bigger than a lion and would destroy a lion in a fight though I would call Mendenhall the tiger and Felix I would call a Bobcat
