1st of all I believe at the beginning of every game.

The NFC is a train wreck so anything is possible.

Things that need to happen:
MM shows up with a squad prepped and ready to play mistake free football EVERY WEEK.
Dak doesn't throw the football to guys not wearing Cowboys jerseys.
Dan Quinn doesn't leave
Pollard gers more touches than eek.

I believe those things CAN happen.

Lol. I’m a Tony Romo fan. But I think he’s thrown an interception to every single team in the entire league. There was a poster going around one time. Anybody who caught football from Tony Romo’s please stand up. 31 different jerseys lol. Prescott does not throw interceptions normally. I don’t think it was necessary to say anything about that

Five touchdowns, three interceptions. That’s not very good

oh, he’s below average no doubt. But he didn’t lose games and he passed well enough in the giants game when our rushers only got 55 yards

I just don’t want to see him get no credit for his contributions. If we include the Vikings game last season where he threw for 325 and 2 touchdowns, he really 5-1

I consider it a miracle that he was able to pull off what he did and what I mean by that is be a poised, smart bus driver that didn’t give games away and saved our season by NOT SCREWING UP!

I for one had ZERO faith in him…….and I was dead wrong. But no, he’s not starting material but only because of his physical limitations.

Look no one could be happier, about his performance than me. But the points remains, he’s just a back up. And we’re lucky to have him.

If you fall for it anywhere before we’re in the Super Bowl then you’re foolish.

We could be 17-0 with every win by 3 TDs and I’d fully expect to get the breaks best off us in the first playoff game.

……and that’s why nobody should believe the hype until they can go toe to toe with a team like the Niners in the playoffs, That team has only gotten better with McCafree and we can’t stop the damn run!

agree. Rush has joined the list of 7 other NFL quarterbacks that have lost to the Eagles this season. His weaknesses were exposed and I’m glad to have Dakota back…..but even he still has to prove he can win the big games. Romo was 4-2 in the playoffs and Rayne is 1-3. We know wins and losses are team records but we also know that the QB gets credit for those wins

6-2 at the bye. 5 of those games with a backup quarterback. 9 games left in the season. 26 years of frustration playing into your beliefs.

What would it take for you to drop the caution flag and allow yourself to hope that this is the year? Beating Green Bay at Lambeau? Following that up with a win in Minnesota? Making that 5 wins in a row by beating the G-Men on Thanksgiving? Or maybe you are hardcore and need to see a victory in the playoffs or maybe 2?

I, myself, need them to beat GB and Minnesota on the road with the offense throwing up 30+ points in those wins. I believe if the offense can score 30 points against those teams in their stadiums then we have the complete team it would require to go to the promised land. Another win on Thanksgiving with the ensuing 10 days off to get healthy would be the final nail. Good offense, great defense and good special teams is a recipe for a championship.

What do you need to see to drop the yellow flag?

Until they actually do something in the playoffs when it's put up or shut up time, then I'll continue to expect what they have been giving me: hype during regular season, complete failure in the playoffs, Jerry in the warroom again the following April grinning like an idiot with every pick with his simpleton son, with video clips of Jimmy Johnson popping champagne bottles from 3 decades ago to remind us we're still "Merica's Team", and then MORE excuses from the fans with empty talk about us beating the winners of the league next game we play them, or next year or next decade.

Sorry for frustration...but just tired of being the Miami Hurticanes of the NFL (who BTW were also very good back in the days of VHS tapes and Tim The Toolman Taylor

You know the same thing can be said about Brady, right? And he is supposed to be the epitome of control. Romo was a gunslinger.
Gunslingers will always throw more picks; its their nature to always try for the big play; force it in there.
I cringed every time Favre threw the ball his last two years in the league; he was so totally out of control.

Beat Aaron Rogers and give the Eagles a "L" Christmas eve and I'm in.

We are going to collapse. We always do. As team does better, Jerry gets more involved, more TV time, more putting his finger in the pot. More money and marketing and distractions and team will get full of themselves and it will collapse. We have seen this every 3 or 4 years....this is same story. I don't believe. Can't.

Cooper Rush nearly beat the Eagles. No he gave the game away to the Eagles. When we needed him most he couldn’t come through. That’s the Cooper Rush story
What? The Cowboys lost by 9. He had us to within 3, but the Eagles drove the field and the clock to put the game out of reach.
But Rush had the Cowboys to within 3 points, despite the bad calls, penalties, and the blown refusal to challenge a bad call.
But Rush did something Dak never does- he led the Cowboys back when the momentum was going to the Eagles. Rush made plays- he didn't wait for someone else to lead. Despite his own struggles, and all the other problems, he didn't give up. He kept trying and brought the Cowboys back to within 3.
Dak can't do that.
And it was only Rush's 6th career game. Dak has had 6 years.
You should leave Rush alone. You're outclassed.

Need a big over the top, down the center, catch and run TO type receiver to be a complete team in my opinion. Everything else is in place to make a legit championship run. Can we get there with what we got? Possibly, but it won’t be easy.

If you change the outcome of four controversial plays, the short field goal mishandled snap, the catch in Green Bay that was actually a catch, to play cards against the Giants that were BS too, Romo wins all those games. Lol

We’re in the NFC Championship game.
I would even say I will “believe” when this team wins a divisional playoff game for the first time in 27 years. I’m enjoying the season a lot every year. But if you’re asking me if I “believe”….not yet.
