Cloudy /overcast day.. Took two leftover beef stocks out of the freezer. we always save after a roast to start a soup.

Turned it into a hamburger soup. Serious comfort food.

Talked my wife into making a "Red velvet" cake. My favorite...:omg:

Take-out corned beef & cabbage in celebration of St. Paddy's Day and to help out area restaurants that are not allowed to seat customers due to the virus.

Tomorrow night is take-out shepherd's pie (that we purchased tonight).

Thursday night will be take-out spaghetti and meatballs.

Friday will be take-out fish-fries.

This is a fun one. My wife is off today The Virus has shut down the schools in the area. She teaches 10-12th grade English. So we are starting form scratch on this one. Blue berry Ice cream

Back when I worked at a brewery, I was in charge of making deserts for a minute because we didn’t have a pastry chef. I’ll be honest, in culinary school, my baking class was only like 6 weeks, and even then the instructor would cut out a lot, because “it’s too long for one class”.

I did want to challenge myself in doing deserts though and I made a few bangers. My goal was to try to incorporate beer into deserts, stouts mane really good ice cream(gotta pair em with chocolatey coffee tasting flavors) IPAs are alright for sorbets but they’re bitter! You take some great photos!
