No doom and gloom for me as win this division. Next week all the bandwagon jumpers will be trying to hop back on the train again as we take it to Seattle.

The doom and gloom is warranted. This looks like a 5 or 6 win team right now. 2-7 when Romo returns with a very difficult schedule. Assuming they will just go 6-0 when Romo returns is very, very optimistic.A totally snake-bit year. Hopefully the relatively high draft pick can contribute right away, and Romo stays healthy in 2016. This year? Is all but over. My only true hope for this year is that they spoil the Skins' chances at a playoff spot.

The doom and gloom is warranted when your team is 0-4 and doesn't appear capable of pulling out a W until the starting QB returns 3 weeks later.

Even worse. We just finished week 7. The earliest Romo can play is week 11 and there's no way around it.

Why do so many people think our season is done? We are now 2-1 in the division, our o line looks like it finally got its act together and our running game is where it should be. Thr eagles lost last night, and on top of that lost Jason Peters. So literally right now we have every opportunity to win a couple games, get Romo and Dez back and run the table. Everyone needs to relax, take a breath and be positive.

Giants are a tough run defense. So it was quite a pleasant surprise to see McFadden run so well.

What does bandwagon have to do with being concerned about a 4 game losing streak, not just a 4 game streak, but a poorly played one?
Fans have a right to be concerned... everyone wants a win...

man this whole "eating crow", "bandwagon", "doom & gloom", "Ill show you" mentality is just silly...

we need a win, & time is running out.

I thought we had a good chance to beat NY this weekend and we were looking very good.

Then they made the adjustments because lets face it, Cassel's arm is extremely limited to intermediate throws at best.

Then we started turning the ball over and then they started taking the game over.

We had costly penalties at key times when we should have scored.

We slipped on ST's to a player we know everything about. In what could have been their key last possession of the game if didn't cough up the TD return and the defense did their job.

We're not creating turnovers.

There's only 16 games to play in a season and we're 2-4 and certainly looking to go 2-5 against Seattle. Look at history and a very small % of the teams starting out that way have ever made it to the playoffs.

I have not even gotten into our starting QB being non available until week 11 at the earliest and even then he's coming off an injury and he's expected to run the table the last 6 games? Lol!

So it is what it is. A Dallas Cowboys soap opera.

The injuries are the legitimate excuse. Watch and see the blow ups, the drama and the ups before the games and the downers after them.

Enjoy the season. It is what it is.

I haven't given up hope. The Boys could've already won 2-3 games without Romo with just a few bounces one way or the other.
That sure doesn't mean they'll win 1-2 of the next 3, but I think it says there's at least a puncher's chance.

The problem is that the schedule really isn't easy once he does get back.
No way, imo, does Dallas not lose at least 2 games after Romo returns. And if they somehow managed 5-2 after his return, that is an excellent record....but maybe still not enough.

The fact everyone here is disagreeing with me is comical. If we didn't have that touchdown taken away from us for no apparent reason we would be 3-3 right now with 3 division wins. Instead Harris punished our horrible special teams unit and Beasley couldn't even fair catch a ball. The creativity on offense gives me hope. Seattle isn't the Seattle of last season and they are plaYing away from home. Their record away from home isn't the greatest. Then Philly comes to town missing their starting left tackle and we will have Dez back and we can't get a win? 4-4. Still hope. Don't stop believing

I forgot it's Monday. By Thursday this place will be all "we are winning the division" again. Lol

Lol!

There's already one guy putting up a thread that we're going to munch Seattle.

Love it!

We're toast bro. Start looking at top 10 talents.

Too bad that manchild RB out of LSU is not eligible this year. Nor those 2 WR's raking stats.

A lot of defense though.

The creativity on offense is exactly what I recommended in my thread Matt Cassel: The low down". http://cowboyszone.com/threads/matt-cassel-the-low-down.334278/

My point in saying that is, just a fan can see what limitations Cassel has, every coach in the league can. So you take away the intermediate stuff up the middle. Force him to go to the edges in zones where he can throw it hard enough and watch the turnover's.

There's only so much misdirection, screens and play action that can be utilized.

We ran the ball as much as necessary. Usually effectively until "the next coming" of Christine ran near the end. Getting sick of seeing him put on a show anytime he runs over 5 yards the 1st time in a game by the way.

Bottom line is that you have to be able to go down field when they take the intermediate stuff away and Cassel just doesn't have the arm. This offense was originally a timing based offense but you have to have rapport with your WR's to run that. That rapport takes longer than 2 weeks of practice and you need your starting WR.

We're toast.

Honestly, I think this is a pretty good week for doom and gloom. That was a pretty big egg that they laid yesterday and next up is a Seattle team that is desperate for a win.

This thread doesnt deserve a response. If you cant see why people are bummed out, its not worth talking about.
