What's with all the doom and gloom?

Why do so many people think our season is done? We are now 2-1 in the division, our o line looks like it finally got its act together and our running game is where it should be. Thr eagles lost last night, and on top of that lost Jason Peters. So literally right now we have every opportunity to win a couple games, get Romo and Dez back and run the table. Everyone needs to relax, take a breath and be positive.

Four straight losses makes you believe they have every opportunity to win a "couple" of games?

We do not appear to be able to get our act together across the entire football team to even win one game.

When one area steps back up, like the run game yesterday, another area of the team steps backward.

2-7 when Romo gets back. Then we run the tables and finish tied with the Iggles and Gnats at 9-7.

Those Washington games will be key to tie breakers.

We had every opportunity to win a couple games in the last month..why would the next few weeks be different?

Because they've lost 4 straight.

Because they are now in a situation where they probably have to win the next two against Seattle and Philly. And given they've lost 4 in a row, what makes you think they can now win 2 in a row?

The QB situation is dire. Your QB cannot continue to play like Weeden and Cassel have and expect to beat even average teamsl ike Seattle and Philly.

You say run the table like it's an easy thing. I'm actually still optimistic. However we need to win 2 out the next 3 to even talk about hope.

every week, every loss, these statements hold less weight....

we need a win...

yep, a complete game (offense, defense and ST) from this team is impossible. I can't remember the last time this team won in all phases.

The doom and gloom is warranted when your team is 0-4 and doesn't appear capable of pulling out a W until the starting QB returns 3 weeks later.

While I am a cup-half-full guy, I think when people see a team like the Commanders managing to put 3 wins (I still think they are 2nd best team in NFCE with all teams are healthy), a joke of a team like the giants having 4 wins and a circus like the eagles having 3 wins and we are not able to put together 1 single win in 5 weeks, and knowing the seahawks are coming full power, so staring at 2-5 .. it kinda make you feel doom and gloom ...

This team needs 2 wins from the next 3 games, and with that Romo/Dez need to help win some difficult games once they are back. The margin of error is thinning more and more and thinking of it out of the remaining 10 games, we need 7 or 8 wins ...

You're Right!

Now cue the music and let's get this healing party started...

Dallas is not running the table. The team hasn't even played together this year. Panthers, Commanders x2, bills in weather, packers, jets, dolphins, no way they run the table.

We'd be lucky to win 1 game without Romo.

That's the reason for all the doom and gloom.

I think this team has the chance to beat both Philly and Tampa Bay. Cassel has the ability to get more from this offense, and the OL and ground game looked good yesterday and offers something to build on. With Dez coming back in the next week or two, that will get things even more stable on offense.

We need to force more turnovers and limit penalties and mistakes on defense. They played pretty well overall yesterday, but I still see bad tackling, poor fundamentals at times, and dumb mistakes. Outside of Bailey and Jones, our Special Teams needs an overhaul-- the coverage units are mediocre and our return game is a joke.
