What's Wrong With Ware?

if anyone says they will be happy with a 5 sack season from ware then they are lying.

What would make you happier 12 sacks from Ware with 8 wins for the Cowboys

or 11 wins from the Cowboys with 5 sacks from Ware?

Ware played an excellent game. If you watched closely, you'd see that the entire Dallas pash rush was more concerned about maintaining their lanes than they were about getting to the QB.

They let Young throw the football because Dallas realized that at this stage of his career he's more dangerous breaking contain and creating that he is beating a team with his arm.

If you noticed late in the game when the score made Young have to throw rather than run, Dallas' pressure picked up substantially and they picked up a few sacks.

It's about 11 players doing their job, not one player looking for stats and highlight reel plays.

really? apparently you never bother to pay attention to stuff then, because I've posted facts about Zimmer for several years now...like how we're always at the bottom of the league in sacks, qb pressures, negative plays and turnovers forced...we have also had a penchent for blowing 4th qtr leads since he's been here

even players like Kavika Pittman and Ebenzer Ekuban (guys who couldnt find the QB with a rand Mcnally here) had success after leaving our scheme...the facts is we've played 3 games and in basically 2 1/2 of the 3 games we've had no pass rush to speak of whatsoever...there has been a HUGE upgrade in defensive front 7 talent here over the years and still Zimmer cant concoct games plans to consistently put pressure on opposing QB's

I notice nobody posted how Merriman basically lost the game for the Chargers today by blowing that tackle at the goalline...wonder what th response would have been if that had been Ware or Roy Williams

actually just the opposite is true. i was one here a month ago lambasting the Sporting News for having Merriman at 11 in their Top 100 players and not even having Ware. I think Ware is the better overall player but I am not impressed at all with his pass rush ability at this point.

Because I know last season our D was #11 and virtually tied with washington in e very category thats washington with "Genius" Greg williams as D coord.

2003 D was #1

So far this year D is top 10

Maybe its because the D doesnt play the way YOU want it to, is the reason you hate Zimmer. But what it comes down to is how the D actually plays.

Today you cried about pressure constantly without even realizing we were playing contain on the outside. It worked to perfection and we won big

If you have a problem with Dallas' scheme then you should be blaming Parcells, obviously if Zimmer sucked as bad as you say Parcells would get rid of him.
