between 93 and 92 for me
Thought defense was better in 92 but offense was better in 93.

Recently 2014
would say 2009 for beating the eagles 3 times but that vikings game after oof

The 92 Cowboys. That was the best Cowboys championship team. Another reason it was my favorite was because it was the first Cowboys championship team in 15 years and I saw them win it in person at the Rose Bowl. Went through a lot of heartbreaks from Jackie Smith’s drop in Super Bowl Xlll to Dwight Clark’s catch in the 81 Conference Title game. We also had to endure a 3-13 and 1-15 team in the late 80s. It was such a relief to win Super Bowl XXVll. One of my happiest moments as a Cowboys fan.

1971.. you never forget your first. When they team inserted Roger as the starter and never lost again my 11 year old mind became convinced that they simply could never be beaten. Shockingly I was wrong and they lost 5 games the next season.. including that horrid 3-26 showing against the Ratscums in the NFC Championship. But not before Roger worked his two minute magic against the Niners the week before.

that 2014 team was special and the refs killed our season. We beat very good teams that year. We were feared because we had everything. We had a run game that was elite. Very physical.
There were over 4 minutes left when Dez caught it but the defense couldn't get the ball back. The Cowboys SB teams would've made a stop and had one more chance.

I can't put that team in the same class as champions. They were on the road for a reason, and would've been on the road again had they won in Green Bay.

that team was steady all year. I agree.
I was kinda mad about the midseason slump that year. That home loss to the Cards followed by a road loss to the hated Steelers left me mad as hell at them. Fortunately they got it together and never lost again!

I do believe Dez caught it, but respectfully I have to say that the officials did not cost us that game

1, GB kneeled out the clock in plus territory and could have very likely still scored with little to no time left to win that game. They were wearing our defense out on that game sealing drive before they kneeled it out

2, a lot of other horrible mistakes such as Demarcos fumble by Peppers on what should have been a walk in TD, etc.

It was a disappointing game but IMO one questionable call didn't define it. That was our for the taking. We make a couple more plays and the Dez catch/non catch is a non factor

we would have played Seattle next. We had beat them in their house earlier already.

And they would've faced the Seahawks in Seattle. Where they already had beaten them early in the season.

those 90's teams had Ken Norton. The guy was a physical beast and true leader. His play backed it up. Guy was underrated and a key figure in those teams.

1971 started 4 and 3, then never lost after that. Had nine future HOF players, HOF coach and GM. Had an owner that knew his place. More importantly and finally after crushing prior losses to GB in 66 and 67, and even worse SB5 to the Colts in 70, finally broke through. Rid themselves of the "next years team" label. Doesnt get any better than that.

I agree with you 100%

I remain convinced if we could have exorcised our Lambeau demons we would have beat Seattle again

The NFCCG was sloppy as hell that year and still Seattle barely eked out a win.

the 95 team was nails. Resilient. The 94 team might have been even better. Even Aikman said that.

Yip. GB messed up and really should have won that game against Seattle. It was a fluke. I guess it was Karma. We should have been in that game. Seattle knew we could beat them.
