A dozen or so.
How bout you change the culture buddy. I'm more than 1000 miles away. I guess I could teach you when to cheer and when to stay quiet. I remember at Texas stadium, I could hear Aikman in the huddle. Now we go silent count at home because you guys are football ignorant.
<toots own horn> I purchase a single game (or two) tickets each year. My wife (stupid Broncos fan!) and I be there Sunday night for the Bears game.
and you think from those games you can call the fans here ignorant? Its not as bad as what everyone says. I will be happy to tell you when it is. I thought the giants game was flat but there was nothing ignorant about the fans.
Just crap thrown by angry people who never attend games.

That's not an equitable analogy. "Vehicle" equals game ticket. "Someone" or "Person" equals both team fans. However, fan loyalty is not addressed in the analogy at all since original ownership of the vehicle doesn't depend upon loving a third entity--like a certain sports team in this instance.See my other post in this thread. Yes at times economics are not involved. I was out of town way too often. So had to sell my tickets. And these websites don't ask who you are a fan of.
As I also said, I sold at a reduced price or gave them away. TO Dallas fans also. But if someone does want to pay double the face value, heck yes I am going to take that.
So you have a vehicle, and someone needs that vehicle but cant afford it, so are you going to give that to them because you know them. Or are you going to take double blue book value for it, to a person you don't know. It is easier for people to be too critical when they have no stake in the value of what is at hand.

You don't know me dude, so do not question about how I cheer...which I do....so you and your insults...go on ignore...disagree with me all you want, debate me....but I have a rule...insult me, go on ignore...I thought insulting people is against the rules.
I have no use for your ignorance.
I will be purchasing tickets now also to selected games, since I sold my PSL's. Oh, and the person who bought them, lives in Seattle. Unless they were moving here or bought them for a family member. Maybe they bought them to sell for profit.
So I have no idea if they are a fan or not. All I know it was an economic decision on my part, and I have no regrets.
I assume they are a fan, as they paid a pretty dang good price for them.
Thing is, I don't care, I got out of what I thought was a bad deal to save my money for the future. But no one needs to question my being a fan because of my ticket and financial decisions.
While watching this win on the road..
It struck me we just don't play like this at home.
Why?
Has anybody got a serious incite to this?
I think inspite all our issues as a team..
the biggest is our inabilty to win at home.
Until we break that stigma..I don't think we have a chance to succeed.
I don't think the team completely addresses this issue well enough and its killing us..
What say you guys?
Fair enough, even though I did say "Certainly, some ticket holders are confronted with personal financial uncertainties that force them to part with their tickets..." I don't believe I worded it badly this time but will extend my apologies nonetheless.I will be purchasing tickets now also to selected games, since I sold my PSL's. It's not just me saying this. It's common knowledge. They just don't seem to stay involved in the game. Which, you actually made my point by saying the Giants game was flat. Not trying to offend anyone. There's 90,000 people there. I'm certain that nobody in this forum is responsible.
I think there is much to be said about the last part of your take. Go to GB, Pitt, Denver, Seattle and it's all about football. Go to Dallas and it's all about the art, decorum, dancers, food, technology (giant screens). It's a circus atmosphere for selfies and souvenirs. Football is almost secondary there. I do not think that is the soul reason we lose at home but I think there is something special for the team when the crowd gets totally into the game. I go to Denver and every person/fan is glued to the field. They party hard in the parking lot but when you walk through the gates it's all about football.I own season tickets and sell most of them. Here is an example for you. The Giants game tickets sold for $700 per pair and my cost was $200 for the pair. So I made $500 per pair and I have 2 pairs. So I made $1k on that game alone. Does it make me any less of a fan to watch the game in my living room? Besides the money, the fans are the worst I have seen in the whole NFL. Quiet when the other team has the ball, loud when our offense has the ball. Just clueless fans. And oh btw, I only sell my tickets to fellow Cowboys fans. Jerry makes the games more about entertainment and less about football. I have traveled to several other staidums that are more simple and the fans focus on impacting the game more.
Yes but If I tell you that last year's giants game was tremendous as are most nfc east games you will discount it because it doesn't fit your narrative. This years giants game was flat because it seemed the field goals took the early momentum away I guess, can't really put my finger on why it was this way this year.
In the past for big games and nfc east games it is a loud building. The eagles beat writers in 09 said the cowboys had an unfair advantage because the crowd was so loud from the 90k plus that it was like a european soccer game.
if this team is over 500 going into the thanksgiving week the ravens and washington games will be loud and a great environment. IF we stink and the season is toast the tampa and detroit games will be boring and flat in december, just like it is in every other stadium in the same situation.
Point taken. Moving forward they need to earn it. Hopefully you will read my last post. I appreciate that you didn't turn into a child and hit the ignore button like jazzcat. It's not personal.
You see this is what is happening around the stadium. In my section the first three years it was a cowboys fans. since the 2013 season out of the
25 seats around me in the first three rows there are 5 of us left. Everyone else has sold.
When they put the psl for sale its not other fans buying the psl's I honestly believe most fans do not even understand this concept, its a business or people with money who are just buying to sell each week. They sell everyweek. The people next to me last week payed 285 for the seat which cost 100.
This is going to keep happening. At least at texas stadium scalping was allowed and cowboys fans would buy the seats right there in the parking lots. I had friends come with me that didn't have tickets a bunch of times and they just bought seats in the lots for good prices. That doesn't exist anymore.
So if people are going to keep doing this it won't change. I am going to try and change my seat next year to the other side of the stadium if possible because I am tired of having visiting fans around me.
I know its not personal and like I said I have zero problem pointing out the bad games and the nonsense at the stadium. Most of it is overplayed though.
Just look at the perception when Dallas opened this stadium, it was all anyone talked about around the league. Dallas got killed for having the bar in the tunnel where the cowboys come out. They got ridiculed for every little thing. Minnesota built the same stadium, instead of being oval its like
an odd rectangle shape, nobody even cared yesterday that they have the exact things as Dallas.
People just love to complain. I am in the building every week, its nowhere near as bad as people say. Not even close.
