When does Hardy become an option?

You can't even acknowledge what happened on the field which was clear for all to see - that's just plain sad and a confirmation of your agenda.

What's to acknowledge? Of course we all saw it. A player lost his stack on the field when the STs had a major gaffe. It was embarrassing for him. The team handled it the right way in the aftermath, and they moved on. What did you expect to see?

I literally do not believe that Garrett had anything to do with Chan Gailey being fired at the end of the 1999 season. Aikman, absolutely. For a guy who was no longer on the roster the following season to have any sway in getting a coach fired strains credulity. I have never read anything about this taking place - do you have a link?

I was talking about when he was there. It was mutiny at that time.

Not talking about who loved him talking about it being documented about him missing meetings.

Is it "well documented" because I don't think that it is.

All I see is another fable, built up by hearsay and unsupported by the truth. The only person I've seen that has done any research into it whatsoever showed that Hardy missed or was late for a grand total of two occasions.

If anyone can provide actual evidence saying different other than an unsupported, jaded opinion, I'd be very interested to hear it.

But, like anything else, people scatter when asked to support something they just typed out without knowing what they were talking about.

Broaddus and Eatman from DC.com both said that Hardy was very close to being cut last year before
the season ended. Take it for what you will...but, no Hardy is what I'm reading and hearing.

You're putting too much on how productive a rookie pass rusher is instead of the long-term future they may possibly have.

I don't disagree with drafting for the future. That's why I want a QB and even taking a chance on LB Jaylon Smith. But we also need a formidable pass rush this season if we want to be competitive. We sorely lack any veteran, proven pass rushers. Lawrence is our most proven and even he is still young and has question marks. Hardy is probably the best D-lineman still available. Even if we draft Bosa, we'd still need at least one veteran like a James Jones or whatever the former Titan's name is.

He was a part of it. Aikman and Garrett and other offensive players together. Get it?

I don't buy it. Aikman, I definitely buy. Garrett, not a chance, especially considering that he was gone at the end of the season.

Still waiting for your confirmation link.

That's pretty easy to say and impossible to support, isn't it? Much like the crazy radio show claims that don't provide a shred of evidence either.

May as well be UFO's.

I understand what you are hearing and reading.
I've tweeted Fish directly that he's wrong to be firm in that stance... and now he apparently isn't.

Whatever was close to happening last year, didn't.
And sitting on 4 wins and with a guy making large bonus pay each week, why not??

Either someone wanted it to happen but was powerless or some other factor kept it from occurring or the story is a fantasy.

Aikman was the guy that mattered.
Jerry has spoken on this many times. (and has Aikman who kinda smiles and laughs it off as if he didn't have all the power)
Jerry says firing Chan that quickly was one of his biggest mistakes.
He felt that team was past it's window and he fired Chan then lost Aikman anyway and had no replacement ready to go.

He is not an option for Dallas. other teams are now looking at hardy.

Just like last year right? Not saying we're going to re-sign the guy but damn, ppl like you who are 100% CERTAIN that Hardy will NEVER happen here just irks the hell outta me, im sorry

People assume that teams aren't interested or pursuing Hardy behind the scenes.

He maybe is wanting a longer deal right now and teams are waiting to see how the reaction is going to be. Maybe he's simply not in a rush. He's finishing his degree right now.

Maybe Hardy isn't interested in playing in the mess we have here. And our FO wants to spin it like they don't want him. Maybe we'll just extend Hayden now and have him play DE.

I'm saying it won't happen now because other teams want him. *** are you talking about? I want hardy back.
