One problem is our offensive line is no where near as good as people think it is.
In fact it's very overrated
Zeke by yards per route run is not a great pass catcher. We're not using him the passing game like we should.
I suggest you watch the game instead of looking up stats .The Cowboys run blocking ranks 4th.
The Cowboys pass blocking ranks 2nd.

What exactly is overrated? Yet alone "very overrated"
I suggest you watch the game instead of looking up stats .
The ole "lying eyes" test. What a joke.
Also they are top 7 in yards per rush before contact. But sure they suck. And we can blame them not Zeke. Because that's really want you're trying to argue.
yDude tony pollards biggest run is like 2 yards longer than Zekes. The RB from Green Bay longest run is 16 yards. Y'all are delusional man.
Where are the consistent blocks by the line?Splash plays are defined as a play of 20 yards or more. It used to be one of the defining parts of Ezekiel Elliott’s game as a RB. He used to always be at the top of the league in SPs.
In fact between 2016-2018, Zeke had 30 splash plays, averaging about 10 a year. In 2019 so far, Zeke has had a grand total of 2 splash plays. One run and one catch.
Why is this happening? Dak’s game has certainly improved. The overall offensive numbers have improved. On the other hand, Zeke’s big play production has fallen off the table.
Is it the OL not being as effective as it once was? Or has Zeke lost some tread on the tires?
One thing is certain. The way this team is built, if Zeke Elliott is no longer a threat to break one at any moment, defenses have a much easier job. This team’s future hopes for playoff time probably hinges on some Zeke revival.
Does it start today?
Yeah, I don't know why people argue about that anyway. Longest run is a very poor way to evaluate pretty much anything when talking about RB's. And often the most effective chain movers don't have many long runs, especially since those inside runs are designed to get 2-6 yds.y
Both of those RBs have longer runs than Zeke.
You picked Zeke’s backup who has 1,000 less carries than Zeke, and oh, by the way does have a longer run than Zeke.
And Aaron Jones?
Yeah, he’s got a longer run than Zeke too (28 yards).
That’s not delusional. That’s just a dumb argument on your part.
Do you notice him getting hit at or behind the line most of the game?Zeke is not a splash play RB. He's a grinder, like Emmit.
Do you notice him getting hit at or behind the line most of the game?
Happens a lot, yes.Do you notice him getting hit at or behind the line most of the game?
I suggest you watch the game instead of looking up stats .
