Not to mention, but I would bet that a lot of Bama fans also love the Cowboys. I have three close friends that support both. We might have a riot if that were to happen :lmao2:
Wagon fans are attracted to big name programs. Are any of them from Dallas or Alabama ?

Ok. So Garrett's first 3 full years he was 8-8 each year. He finished 8-8.

Are the Cowboys in a better place? By your own definition, no.

It's the very definition of mediocre. That may be fine with you and a few others. But it's not good enough for me a d many others
Mediocre is unacceptable in the Dallas Cowboys Organization.

I didn’t realize you were speaking of players. Thought it was fans.

No, it was from a fan perspective even though one played for Bama. They are not bandwagoners and have liked both for decades through thick and thin. None of them want Garrett anywhere near that program.

Probably nowhere this year.
Jerry mishandling of situation early left him out of the mix in the most important week. Technically he’s still under contract.

Of course you'd say that. Any possible way to deflect blame from Garrett and blame it on Jerry instead, right?
I'm certainly no Jerry defender, but Garrett has earned his own blame. He's leached off of the Cowboys for 13 years and Jerry made him a multi millionaire, while receiving very little to show for it in return.
Jerry didn't "mishandle" the situation, there were reports that Garrett wouldn't leave. Why do you think they kept having meetings?
I suppose you think the Cowboys wanted him to stay and wouldn't let him go??? :lmao2:
Do you really think Garrett didn't know he was being fired? If you think Garrett was caught by surprise by this, you haven't been paying attention.

His offense sucked the first 8 games then did a miraculous turnaround the rest of the season. Why did Garrett wait until Wade was fired to get his offense in gear? Pretty simple, actually.

Have you forgotten? It all changed when Garrett took over and told all players they had to wear a tie on the plane on the way home.
Remember that? That how he whipped the team into shape!

he should take year off to reflect like MM
and come back next year energized with anew passion and plan.

he will get a HC job next season..he was let go late , and with only 3 jobs to choose, given Rivera was hired with no interviews he was their guy and the Dc were out, from is why he didnt get a HC job this season..

Not a chance...….that would require an adjustment. Garrett doesn't make adjustments.

I believe Jerry was trying to figure out a way to keep Garrett.

I'd say Garrett will land as a Sunday analyst for Fox, CBS, ESPN, or the NFL Network.
With all of his connections he will likely be highly sought after in the booth.

I can't imagine listening to Garrett all the way through a football game. The guy is way too boring to listen to.

If you really believe that, then how can you blame Jerry for sticking it to Garrett by keeping him too long??? If Garrett wanted free to look for a job Jerry would've let him go on the spot. Unless you want to claim Jerry was begging Garrett over and over to stay...…. :lmao2:

not totally true.. more exaggeration.. if he cant adjust he took over a 1-7 team his first seasons and they finished 8-8 ,how did they turn a 3-5 tem into a division winner 10-6 and win a playoff game?

hers the latest proof

1st half of the philly game we couldn't run, no one was on , Dak had no time to throw etc

the 2nd half WRs were wide open, Dak had time to throw and zeke finished strong.. we lost because DAK couldn't hit himself in the face with the ball if he tried.. maybe we can blame Garret for letting Dak stay in half way through tjhe 3rd qtr knowing this, I would have put in Rush but most coached might have left in the Starter..I hope MM will do this more often..

sometimes we might want o look back and realize the players were a lot to blame for many of the losses..

I wanted change as much as anyone as far as a new staff goes a because its time but blaming Garett for all that went on in the last 9 season is utter ridiculousness..
