So far, considering the places I have visited in this world, I would have to say the Oregon Coast. It's just a beautiful stretch of unforgettable oceanfront landscape. I don't mind that it isn't a sunny paradise filled with sandy hot beaches. The beaches are not crowded and wildlife can be found abundantly in their natural environment. There is some kind of magical aura about it and I find it incredibly tranquil in it's almost melancholy tone.
I'm probably also incredibly bias as my grandparents took me there a lot when I was young. So, my opinion admittedly is tethered to strong feelings of nostalgia. Still, I love it there. I'm actually very much considering moving that direction when I reach my retirement days.
