Which Head Coach that is available is better than Garrett right now?

Of course you were.

Do you want to talk about McGee as well under Garrett?

Or how about the fact that Prescott had a worse season the more he's worked with these coaches?

So so true
I credit Dak’s moxie and leadership skills he showed in his first year to Mississippi St and that staff. I fear for Dak with the Cowboy coaches in his ear.

Pretty sure everyone acknowledged the 2009 season. But as I've been saying, he didn't take over that team. He took over the 1-7 2010 Cowboys.

It was the same team, the one that won 11 games and a playoff game the year before. As I said about a hundred times, but again some people can't handle that fact and would try to deceive by separating things. Those people fail.

It's notable, and concerning that he's gotten worse the longer he's worked with this staff. Hopefully, it was the result of other factors and not the coaching staff ruining him like they have every other quarterback they've had here.

So it wasn't a playoff team when he took over

Actually, it was. The team Garrett took over went 11-5 and won a playoff game the year before.

Maybe that's an inconvenient truth for you the way it is for some other people?

Key words “Year before” ,he started the year as “OC” , the team played “8” games While he was “OC”, he took over as “Interim HC” , the team was 1-7, with “Kitna” as the starter, not a playoff team, why is that so hard for you to comprehend? You just want to keep lying about the team he inherited...lol

We never went to the playoffs without Romo standing. And Wade was only Cowboy HC to have a losing record with Romo starting , 1-4, which doesn’t count the game we lost when he went out for the season.

Any fan paying attention the year before saw a depleting aging battered OL run ruff shot in Viking playoff game as the team Parcells built with some of our worst drafts under Wade had finally ran out.

And why 2011 was the beginning of a rebuild that was aided with some of the greatest Romo production elevating one of the most historically futile defenses.

Statistical comparisons to other NFL teams in history with such futility on defense were teams that hadn’t won more than 5 games. Going 8-8 during the rebuilds was a credit to Romo and Garrett overcoming some tremendous obstacles on defense and inner team issues like the death of a player.

But those who are looking to bash are going to use data to spin their narrative . I’m not really interested in their pursuit. Because their focus is about being right in a trolling fashion not a civil discussion on Cowboys football.

The cliff notes for the posts.

1. Jason Garrett was gifted the job.
2. Jason can't do the job
3. Don't blame Jason cause he sucks.
4. It's Jerry's "agenda"

next thread.

JG. Wins vs. losses.

Wade Phillips - .562 as a head coach.(.607 record in Dallas) Super Bowl winning coordinator.

Jason Garrett - .558 as a head coach. Terrible in any games that count.

Wins vs. losses.

You're welcome.

Perfect. Wade was SO much better, lmao. And I'm not even a JG fan, but when he's had a healthy QB he's been very good.

Quick! Throw another tard "clapper" insult! People actually believe it matters!

Lyao about your own ignorance.

What's "insulting" are *******es like you who type nonsense without actually knowing anything.

Quick! Make yet another stupid post while not knowing your facts.

No point other than that. Thank you for being able to admit that fact. You'd be amazed how many folks can't.
I have always admitted the facts, you are the one who selectively tries to use things to prove something, which nobody on this thread has yet to figure out. you have a lot of trouble admitting to facts that are plainly out there for you to see and many on this thread had provided to you. choosing to ignore is your issue. nobody else on this thread

so finally thank you for admitting that we had one of the worst defenses in the league for the first 8 games....what happened the year before is irrelevant to the first 8 games of the season. you are trying to connect 2009 outcome to 2010 results in the first game and they are not related.

Sure he did. A 1-7 team that made the playoffs the year before.

Unlike some people, I can handle the truth.
what does the year before have to do with 1-7?

the only relevant fact is the team was 1-7 and among the worst in the league....Wade lost that team. the defense was among the worst in the league...nothing else is relevant.

I think you have a lot of trouble handling the truth....you keep wanting to point to the past and ignore what's in front of you...right in front of you is 1-7?

I'm using him as an example of a player who is vilified for telling the truth.

he is not vilified....he is a piece of shiet...he was pushed out the door from several teams. he is discontent. he is a nobody. he was so stupid he lost over 50 million of money he had earned. he is desparate and looking for attention.

you referencing him, that piece of trash only shows your character and desperation.

why not quote Witten? Romo? guys who are respected...nobody respects TO, except maybe you

Tell yourself whatever you need to about it. So you can feel better.

But where a team was the year before a coach takes over is most definitely "relevant" to any discussion about the job that coach has done and what they've accomplished, and specifically what they've had to overcome.

But Garrett excuse-makers try (and fail) to disregard it because it might paint their guy in a less favorable light.

Too bad.

Hall of Famer.

Let me know when Garrett gets fitted for his gold jacket.
