So you wont be happy until we have Tom Brady at QB?

But your fine with Garrett? Mistifying................

Tom Brady loses when his defense isnt good. Elway never won squat without Terrell Davis and a good D. Rogers only won the SB when his defense led the league in turnovers. Manning won ONE time without a good defense. Won it in Denver WITH a great defense.

IF your waiting around for the next Manning , Brady, or Rogers you might as well just give it up.
Because I don’t believe an Elite HC is an option.

Elway made it to SB 3 times without Davis. That’s what we need. I’d take that.

I don’t believe these idiots can build an elite defense but they could get lucky with an Elite QB.

Some of these no longer available but decent list.

I would take them all over Garrett.

What does making the SB mean if you dont win it. I dont think these bozos can do it either, but that is because of Garrett. You give a real coach when Garrett has now and a better defense and can book championship.

And all these great QB's did they have great WR's or the garbage we have had?

I think we’d all initially hoped we’d lucked out with Dak. But I don’t know anyone who thinks Dak is elite enough now to lead us to SB without a great defense and key pieces around him.

Why would we be sold on a QB like that with our organization?

Making the SB would be awesome compared to what we have now.

AS warped as it is I am starting to understand your thinking. Is this it in a nutshell?

The front office and Garrett are so bad that the ONLY way we have a shot at getting lucky is with an elite level QB like Brady willing us to a championship?

And therefore any QB that isnt a Tom Brady elite is a waste of time? So even good QB's like Romo and Dak we need to move on from?

In an odd way I agree with many parts of your theory. But I focus more on being happy with the good QB and just getting rid of Garrett and getting a great coach in here. THAT is the easiest thing to do. Fire the guy and replace him all in ONE day.

Problem is Jerry wouldn’t take them and none we’d want would probably be interested in coming here.

It’s a pipe dream hoping for better HC in this dysfunctional franchise . You better be hoping we need to build a new stadium or generate revenue.

I just don’t believe that’s a reality bringing in a good coach here with Jerry anymore.

"With OUR organization" is the key there.

But I am of a mind to think that Brady would have won ZERO championships here in Dallas over his tenure with Wade and Garrett as head coach and our defense.

Ok, in a weird way, we mostly agree. We just say it different and take our displeasure out in different ways and on different areas of the team.

I dont think Jerry has more than 5 years left as a big influence here in Dallas. I think once Stephen takes over as the main guy he gets a real coach in here.

Two names at the top of my list would be Michigan's Jim Harbaugh and Wisconsin's Paul Chryst.

Pretty sure Chryst isnt going anywhere. He was born and raised in Madison, played for the Badgers, was an offensive Co for the Badgers, and now the head coach. Its his dream job and he is treated like a king. Also,... they are in strong contention for a national championship this upcoming season. Furthermore,.... they have a commitment from a young QB that just about every bigtime program in the country including Alabama and Clemson was going after in Graham Mertz. The future in Madison is unbelievably bright. Unfortunately that ship has sailed for Dallas. He would have been our offensive coordinator some time ago already if the red menace would have included play calling duties in with the job. But Nooooooooooooooooo. :(

OMG.............injured talent. Sheesh!! Cmon buddy.

How about this...............the team that went 1-7 was bad because some of the talent was injured and they had some bad luck and coaching. Sound good to you? Lets move on. Forget about the team before and after the 1-7 stretch. Seems a little too complicated at this point.
geez...who piissed in your coffee. You seem to have some anger management issues. I just mentioned that in one post you claim we were talented team, having gone 11-6. in the next post you say the team had injuries.

relax.. have a beer on me,....make it two, you sound stressed.

I’m looking for solutions within our dysfunctional handicaps Jerry presents . Your still looking for more normal realistic solutions . I’ve basically given up on that years ago.

I’ve dealt with dysfunctional situations consulting business owners most of my life. Sometimes unusual or drastic situations call for solutions outside the normal realm.

Id define myself as Apathetic, frustrated and embarrassed what’s become of our once proud beloved franchise that respectively represented my city, community and area.
