Remind me never to ask you for pizza advice.

As far as frozen pizza goes. Jack's is the best bang for your buck. Tombstone and Red Baron are bleh, at least since Tombstone stopped making their little single deep dish pizzas.

Well, yea I guess since I didnt include that dynamite gourmet Jacks Pizza I dont know anything about pizza :lmao2:

Gourmet at its best. :muttley:

Little Ceasars is just trash pizza, waiting in the warmer for people too lazy to wait 10 minutes for better pizza.

Agreed. Give me DiGiorno's pizza all day long over most of those listed.

You can get better pizza off a cart in NYC.

If you would have read...
Recently, in an effort to once and for all determine the best pizza you can get across the United States, I spent an afternoon sampling some of the largest chain pizza shops in America: Dominos, Little Caesars, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, and Sbarro.

That would have explained things. No where did it say these were the best pizzas just a comparison of those listed.

Pizza Hut and Dominos seems to be adding a lot of "gimmicks" not a fan of the crap spread on the crust that Dominos and PH have started using but if Ihad to choose between the two Dominos. Either way I prefer Papa Johns, Sbarro, then Dominos. Though there is nice local place here in MD that has come around that is great.

1. Pizza Hut - Thin crust, extra cheese.
2. Domino's - Meh. It's alright. I won't turn it down.
3/4. Little Ceasars - Yeah, call me one of those lazy folks who don't want to wait for better pizza.
3/4. Papa John's - Burnt out. Co-workers used to order it every Friday.
5. Sbarro - Mall/Food court pizza.. It's the last thing I'll buy if nothing else is around.

I like NY style pizza and Chicago deep dish (easy on the cheese).

Tombstone is the nastiest frozen pizza ever. Pizza Hut's stuffed crust cant be beaten.

As a child growing up in the Park Cities I lived for the incredible thin crust pizza at Campisi's Egyptian restaurant on Mockingbird Ln. I have yet to find anyplace here in Houston that measures up.

Clearly there are a lot of Pizza's available that are better than the above listed available at "enter favorite and/or obscure local joint here" (for me, Cane Rosso or the Mellow Mushroom in Fort Worth... Frisco location doesn't bring the magic).

But if I'm ordering--

1. Sbarro -- to be fair though, this is almost a novelty because I don't know where one is unless I'm strolling through a mall or airport.

2. Domino's (if you haven't had it within the last 3 years, I recommend trying again. Very different now)

3. Pizza Hut -- I'm not too good for the hut.

4. Papa Johns -- very different, almost sweet, kind of pizza. Not my preference, but I crave it every
now and then. Plus Rangers promotions = bank.

5. Little Ceasar's -- glad they found their niche-- cheap. Still Pizza though.

Dominoes is good but for some reason I get burned out from them quicker than Pizza Hut and Papa Johns.

I dig Pizza Hut change and the crust is great now.

The one advantage that almost every one of these places has is that they deliver. Having said that, there are a couple of local joints here that are within five miles of my house and I would just prefer to jump in the car and go grab it.

I can turn a $1 frozen Totinos into a masterpiece. Add a little extra parmesan, Tony Chachere's, tabasco and you are good to go!

Glad I'm not the only one who can hook up a Totino's pizza. I get the cheese and just load up from there. lol
