Who does Miles Austin remind you of?

I'd say he's like TO in his prime.. maybe better. His hands might actually be better, but his speed and strength remind me of TO.

Everyone has already named the players I would say...To me, it's a combo of these three:

Hines Ward - His smile after every play and general love for the game makes it hard not to compare.

Terrell Owens - You can DEFINITELY tell that Miles learned A LOT from Owens while he was here! However, he doesn't have the ego or the personality issues...He's like the best parts of Owens without the all the baggage!

Anquan Boldin - His physique and physical style of play is very similar...although Austin is faster and more elusive.

I find it very interesting in regards to the number of TO analogies. I hadn't thought about that, but now I think I get it. He has great work ethic and I guess that's where I see some Jerry Rice. So I'll give him the ultimate compliment and say he's a TO/Rice hybrid.

I find this strange now because I never thought he'd be nearly this good. I had him behind Hurd in my preseason mental lineup.

Looking at his situation now all I think is just...wow. He's only going to get better and he didn't even start the season. WOW!

Yeah but the way the cut, run routes, and just have that unique type of way of catching the football remind me of each other.

Glenn wasn't your everyday receiver. He had a uniqueness about him and I see some of that in Austins game.

Austin has a different style than you everyday bigtime receiver.

I'm with Ray Sherman. There aren't too many people like Miles. He has a strange combo of size, strength, and speed.

Austin has a different style than you everyday bigtime receiver.

I think if you're going to compare him to someone, you have to pick someone in his ball park in terms of size. Moss and Glenn are tiny speedsters, more like DeSean Jackson. Not much like Austin at all, in my opinion. Neither of those receivers has the strength/power like Austin either.
