I've long been a critic. I still am not fully on-board, but you'd have to be really petty to not be buying in somewhat.

This. Never have been a fan but I love the makeup of this team and he has something to do with it so I’d love to eat crow and win out

Cowboys defense made the seahawks go "3 and out" 6 times !!

We should have destroyed if it werent for linehan's incompetence .
3rd and long has been our downfall since Dak started, but unless you only see blowouts as evidence we played well last night has to be an exception. Neither team was playing well on 3rd down because the defenses were playing outstanding.

When we look at the tape Dak will want two throws back entirely, the INT and the near pick 6, but otherwise 3 offensive TDs for 1 turnover is completely acceptable. The defense played lights out except for giving up way too many big plays. It's the big plays Seattle had that kept them in the game, not our poor offense.

Yep totally agree.....Dak will be our cancer if Jerry signs him to a long term deal this off-season....we can only hope that Jerry wont buy into the hoopla and go get a QB that is well a QB......
I don't know -- I think Dak is starting to turn the corner. He is attack more of the field than he ever has. There were some completions that could have had more YAC had they been more accurate but they were acceptable. The INT should have been a TD had it been in the right place -- he will have to stop lobbing balls in the WR because nothing good seems to happen when he does that. He has off-season work to do but I watched Deshaun Watson look worse than Dak in the game earlier, throwing many easy throws into the dirt.

I don’t like garrett as a coach but I put team success over everything

Why would I want to willingly lose? Garrett has lost plenty and hasn’t been fired

How can any true fan be disappointed about a playoff win? JG has led the team to 8 of 9 wins and has most NFC wins over last 3 years. As Jerry said playoff wins are the only thing left to launch him into top status.

As for the previous playoff trips he’s been the coach the teams always been taken out by 1 in a million plays, Rodgers throw, Dez’s overturned Catch.

He’s getting the job done the 2nd half of the year. You can’t deny it
I was on board with Garrett during his first couple of years, then I jumped off and now I see myself climbing back on. I think as a head coach, he’s good in certain aspects. The players never quit on him, the players love him and respect him. However, I would love to see Richard be the DC next year if he doesn’t take another job and would like to see Linehan replaced

Most are, but a few have the football objectivity to allow themselves to be persuaded if even a little bit.

Risen posted last night that Dak has that clutch factor. He wished that he had a better skill set but the clutch factor was undeniable. That's coming from Risen! I know he rubs people the wrong way and a lot of his humor goes over way too many heads but if you look at my sig, you'll see a quote from Risen from a few seasons ago. If you think I planted it there as a dig on him, you would be correct. If you think I KEPT it there as a dig on him, you would be incorrect. I actually kept it there to remind SOME that the dude, as polarizing as he can be, isn't stupid. He recognizes when the team (or even players, in this particular case) are starting to become special and he's not so insulated in a foregone conclusion to actually post it up on this forum (even though he knows he'll catch a ton of shot from fellow posters).

This is no love letter to Risen (because he still pisses me off a lot of times) it's just a "let's bring it back to reality" about some posters. There's a few "Dak haters" on this board that are slowly coming around. And, again, some that never will.

Risen is genuinely creative, witty, and fairly non-combative with his brand of dislike for certain players (Dak) and other aspects of the team I may not agree with him on. He doesn't bother me too much, and in every practical sense is great contributor to the discussion on this board - but, he still sucks!

@PAPPYDOG on the other hand, is a toxic member that likely thinks hiding behind the 'Zone Supporter' badge will exonerate him from all the stupid vitriol he spews on a daily. He is just hardwired to hate Dak, good or bad, and goes for the lowest hanging fruit to voice his criticism because he lacks the intellectual insight and integrity to objectively process anything that occurs on the field. He belongs in one of those homes for people with special needs, not on the internet.

All very good points.

Risen annoys the heck out of me sometimes. Other times he is hilarious.

I can’t blame him for worrying about Dak’s skill set. But he is also mature enough to give him credit for things he does well. So I respect that.

Kind of the opposite of me. I am a big Dak fan. But I also was calling Dak out earlier this season and openly saying that he was playing like poop. Although Dak has definitely progressed as the season has gone along.

Some fans though. Are so jaded or so bent on proving themselves right, that they see the same plays we do, and twist the narrative the best they can to minimize any credit to Dak.

To the point that now we are not giving Dak credit for making plays when the OL blocks well, or the receiver makes a good play. As if football isn’t a team sport and it’s not the receivers job to catch the ball, and zekes job to run the ball.

It’s like Dak would have to win a game totally by himself with no help. Which is ludicrous because no QB does that.........

Even being a Dak fan I have no problem saying that Zeke is our best player and the engine of the offense. He is what makes the offense tick. But that isn’t meant as a knock on Dak either. Because he makes plays that help the team win too.

You mean the Dak that once again when it counted made huge plays to help this team win? I’ll take Dak and trade you to the Eagles

Disappointed that this guarantees Garrett’s return? Unbelievably, I’ve already seen this written a few times since the game ended.
I don't care for Garrett, but I'll take the wins any day.

(reality) good or bad doesn't matter as Jerry is keeping him, get use to it, even if the season was bad JG was coming back.

If I'm a loser for being disappointed when/if we lose in the playoffs I would consider that being better than a happy loser.

You do realize that in the real world, at the end of all this ... there will be 31 "Losers."
You cannot do one single thing about the fortunes (good or bad) for this or any other team. You can, however, completely control how you react and process whatever happens ...

It's a game, man ... I quit kicking car doors and throwing beers throw patio windows years ago.

And it's better.
