Who is most under appreciated player in Cowboys history

Cornell Green CB/S should be in the Cowboys Ring of Honor. Never played a down of college football. Came on as a B Baller making All Pro at CB and S. Has more interceptions and same number of All Pro/Pro Bowls as Darren Woodson. Then scouted as a player scout finding and mentoring Cliff Harris who is in the Ring of Honor. Unreal that he is not no.1 on any list for Ring of Honor or Hall of Fame.

Danny White QB is more worthy than Romo and is very unappreciated getting to the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row. Cowboys have not sniffed a NFC Championship game in 27 years. He also had the passing TD record until Aikman, and then Romo.

Tony Hill WR is way underappreciated holding Cowboy receiving records. Thrill Hill is worthy of appreciation.

Roy Williams S was legislated out of the game. When the defense was changed from 4-3 to 3-4 his free style as cut. But he was one of the top defensive players in the NFL when they let him played tackle football.

Nate Newton OL actually made 6 Pro Bowls and is not even mentioned as worthy of praise. The Kitchen played OT then OG for the Cowboys leading the Great Wall of Dallas.

Finally because he is not in the Ring of Honor nor is he in the Hall of Fame, Harvey Martin DE is underappreciated for a NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Super Bowl MVP, and All Time Sack leader if someone would watch all the film and video tapes showing his 117 sacks and 23 sacks in one season.

Romo is over appreciated and overrated. Jerry is going to put him in the Ring of Honor before Danny White.

I think Danny was a stud....21 other players may have a little bit of blame too.

He was a stud and knew football. He was top punter, top QB, and then won 2 Championships as a Head Coach in the Arena league (Kurt Warner came out of that league). Right now anyone would take Danny White as Head Coach of the Cowboys over the bums (Campo, Gailey, Garrett, McCarthy) Jerry Dumbo GM Jones hired.

Others could be Danny White who led Cowboys to 3 straight championship losses and held most of the Cowboys passing records until Romo .

Meredith might be on the list as well after losing 2 straight NFL title games and ended up retiring early due to fan ridicule along with battered body. Regardless being in ROH.

The media and some Cowboy fans aren’t too kind to some of their prolific QB’s who don’t win championships.

"The Hotel" Flozell Adams was partially deaf in his right ear, which attributed to a lot of false start penalties, but that was easy to overlook because of the way he could dominate the line of scrimmage, run block and pass protect at the LT Position. They called him Hotel because of his enormous size [6'7'' / 340 LB.]. He wasn't great but he was very good.. He was an imposing force that patrolled the Cowboys O-line for 12yrs. [1998 - 2009]. He was selected to 5-Pro Bowls and 1 All-Pro team. Adams wasn't truly appreciated until he was gone, but he'll be remembered as a reliable and solid player that played O-line for the Cowboys at a high level.

I like Newman here. Played very solid CB for a long time. Not many interceptions but a very reliable player. The others weren’t as consistent every game and every season in my opinion.

Amazingly in one of the rare occasions in Jones era we inducted a player well ahead of any HOF induction. Usually our Idiot in Chief is behind the league having to react to not look as foolish.

I think Woodson will some day get in . I’m still rooting for Howley to get in before he dies . I thought he was more deserving than Drew which gives me more hope than I’ve had in years they might finally get it done.

I agree on pumping the brakes a tad, but Parsons didn't just have a good year. He was arguably the best player in the NFL. Can you remember the last time that was debated? Maybe Tyron or Martin in their prime.

I’d say Larry Brown, and Anthony Brown isn’t too far behind. Fans were always wanting to upgrade from Larry, just as they currently do with Anthony. Fans always want two probowl, shut down corners….lol.

Larry Brown was rock solid, but did not shine as brightly as the CBS who played across from him.
