Keep in mind rookie DTs usually don’t make a major impact and it’s a position that takes time…I’d love Grant but to expect him to come in and be a stud year 1 isn’t realistic.

Also - j/c how you know Mazi doesn’t love footballl? Quite a statement when he fans have zero insight into something like that.
First rd DTs USUALLY DO MAKE AN IMPACT. This is the kind of BS that Jethro and company spread

Carter is an generation type of player, those who passed him up are losing their jobs. He is their Parsons and allows the rest of the defense to clean up his pressures. Grab one of these high end DT's and there is a chance they can become a star.
He had some off the field issues, but you’re right…I think hes going to win a few all pros. Freaking monster.

I think we should take player quotes with a little bit of context…

We could probably reel off a million quotes from Cowboys players that are dumb.
so first you say he did not say it and now you say he did not mean it
sounds to me someone else here is dumb beside the player

History of the draft tells us otherwise…but appreciate your opinion.
You claim that they do not make the pro bowl or whatever; got news for you
first rd dts that are not busts have an impact their rookie year about three times what mazi did at worst
do the research

I’d share stats / metrics to prove my point but you’ve claimed in other threads that stats don’t matter so I’ll pass.

Agree to disagree pal.

You have nothing. Show them - I need a laugh

your metrics will make good toilet paper and that is all

They should seriously consider Nolen but i know that idiot Stephen will re-sign Osa and completely neglect the position.

Even if you resign Osa , Nolen wouid not be a bad pick . Hoping year three Mazi Smith is not Trysten Hill . The Cowboys have got to be better against the run to progress up the NFL ladder .

Because he literally said in one of his initial interviews that he doesn’t love football, but he loves hitting people.

We are here to discuss our own thoughts and opinions about draft prospects. If you don’t agree, there is no need to personally attack one another.

The Eagles have proven a dominant DT room can transform a defense
Yes and no IMO.......Fangio plays a huge role. They really got lucky ( well not luck ) Carter dropped to them. Their dominance starts with him. Jordan Davis is meh......they may not even offer him 5th-year option.

This is what happens when you are too caught up with character issues we hear from the media. Don't get me wrong, I'm saying the media is lying but EVERY kid deserves his due process. What I mean by that is a chance to hear HIS side with an open mind before passing judgment. Look no further than our passing on Randy Moss. Many of these kids battled through hard/challenging backgrounds and even in their early 20s are still trying to figure out who they are.........not many knew this about J Gibbs.
