The chemistry looked outstanding this year before their second best player went down for the season.

I'd say Dirk most certainly is not one dimensional.
No offense, really, but you need to watch a game or two before you say that. He does rebound fairly well.
I said it before and I'll say it again, the Mavs lost their Championship hopes the moment they lost Butler. I firmly believe they could have had the best record in the league had he remained healthy. Unfortunately for them, he is injured.
I am not upset or saddened by this, as injuries are part of the game. Plus, I am not a Mavs fan. I hate that team up in North Texas.
With Butler, I am scared to play the Mavs. Without Butler, I do not fear the Mavs quite as much. They are still a tough team to play, but nowhere near as tough without their defensive enforcer.
The Spurs are the best team in Texas. GO SPURS GO
