No blue chippers for sure…but still a lot of good players in the 1st 2 rounds that could help their rookie year.Preach. If you stack these guys up to previous draft classes they fall short. The value starts in round 2 at WR.
I agree. I think I give the current WRs more of a pass due to McCarthy, but I support adding better talent to this group. No blue chippers for sure…but still a lot of good players in the 1st 2 rounds that could help their rookie year.
Our WR room is laughable.
I can’t give them a pass…Tolbert has had a few years now and isn’t more than a 3 at best.I agree. I think I give the current WRs more of a pass due to McCarthy, but I support adding better talent to this group.
That's one perspective and I get it. I look at a guy who has gotten better every year, and doubled his production from last season. It's hard to get open when the CB knows the route your running.I can’t give them a pass…Tolbert has had a few years now and isn’t more than a 3 at best.
The scheme didn’t ask him or others to do much and no one could step up opposite of Lamb.
WR2 is a red light need for me.
I tend to see it that way too. I think his numbers would have been even better had he had Dak back there for a full season. That said, I wouldn’t bat an eye if we took Egbuka and slotted him as #2 and Tolbert #3.That's one perspective and I get it. I tend to believe the red light is the run game, which, will open up bigger passing windows and create 1 on 1s for the WRs. Just a difference in perspectives.
That’s fair…but I’ve seen enough to think he’s completely upgradable and isn’t good enough in comparison to the NFC contenders #2s.That's one perspective and I get it. Disagree on this one.I can’t give them a pass…Tolbert has had a few years now and isn’t more than a 3 at best.

Sure, he probably plays better with Dak.Disagree on this one.
Tolbert had a really good year considering who he was playing with at QB. Receiver and TE numbers for the team were down across the board including CeeDee.
I think Tolbert can be a quality #2-3 with Dak. We do need more talent at the position and possibly a #2 starter type.
Are they any better then what we already have? They need a legitimate #2 starting receiver.I'd be looking more at guys like Elic Ayomanor, Isaiah Bond, Jalen Royals, Savion Williams, Xavier Restrepo etc...someone who may be there in rd 3 or perhaps 4, if we make a trade for a 4th, which I think is very possible.
People just don't get it, it's laughable to compare our #2 receiver against the contenders. Tolbert isn't even close to these players and never will.Sure, he probably plays better with Dak.
But how do you feel about him compared to Smitty, Addison, Deebo, Jameo etc as a #2? Those are our top NFC competitor #2s.
I think at least a couple of those guys would hopefully be upgrades. And would make a nice addition to the WR room that would help complement CD and the passing attack. Are they any better then what we already have? They need a legitimate #2 starting receiver.
