Who is the best WR complement to CeeDee?

I know many are down on Diggs, but he has been very consistent throughout his career. No, he isn't a #1 receiver any more, but still remains a good option opposite Lamb. Cooper fits the same mold, good route runners tend to have long careers.
If he’s open to an incentive based deal I’m fine…but he likely won’t be and will be looking for 15/20 mil as a floor.

I feel like we’ve been burned too many times with these players coming off injury.

Would rather hunt a trade target.

luther burden,mizzou.

but there is something about matthew golden.
everytime i watched texas that guy just makes plays.
he is a magnet for the big play.

I would rather bring back Cooper who we know has worked well with Dak in the past. Question is, has he burned bridges with the team and vice versa?

Is Cooper washed? Tolbert had better numbers last year.

He just had 1,250 yards a season ago, think he still remains a quality #2 type receiver. This yr was kind of crazy, terrible QB play with the Browns and came to the Bills who are more of a run heavy type of offense.

I see Voch/Broaddus stole my discussion topic, LOL. Video was just posted today.

I am zeroing in on the 1st rd receivers in Burden, Egbuka, Golden, assuming T-Mac is long gone. Who complements Lamb the best?

-Burden-a poor man's Lamb but not as explosive. Excellent yac receiver, but is very raw route runner. He is a type of receiver you find ways to get him the football. I have heard comparisons to Brandon Ayuik. #1 receiver upside

-Egbuka-unlike Burden, excellent route runner, highly experienced, but lacks high end explosiveness. Many see him similar to St. Brown from the Lions. Move the sticks type of receiver. Has been playing that Robin role throughout his college career. More of a steady #2 type that has a high floor.

-Golden-similar to Egbuka as a route runner, but is more explosive down the field. However, his slight frame causes struggles against press coverage. A bigger, less talented version of DeVonta Smith. Can he play on the outside?
You never know what these guys are going to become. Everyone missed on St Brown. He went 112th overall. Nobody thought he had pro bowl potential. In 2020, Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy went before CD Lamb and Justin Jefferson. It's a bit of crapshoot at WR unless you have a generational talent like a Jamar Chase or Megatron. But that kind of obvious ability doesn't stick around until pick 12. You can't say this guy is like that guy. None of these players are copies of anyone else.

We aren't looking for a complimentary player who's ok deferring to CD. At pick 12, you are drafting another franchise WR who could be a #1. You just pick the best one.

At 12 the hope is drafting a no 1 receiver on a 5 yr controllable contract

If McMillian is gone which he will be by pick 12 probably end up in New England hook up with that young 2nd yr QB Maye I stick to the strategy of going defense round 1 .

Tre Harris 6’3. 225 YAC out of Ole Miss would be a nice outside compliment to Lamb round 3 and have Tolbert man the slot moving chains end zone target . Would really like this trio for Dak and you have Turpin Flournoy Brooks as depth . I don’t even know where Mingo fits in .

Tre Harris is such a hate eval. He looks like he’s moving in slow motion sometimes but he just makes plays. His YPRR numbers are bonkers.

Anxious to see how he doesn’t at the combine.

The small outside receivers haven't worked well with Dak in the past. Cooks was a major disappointment here.

Golden reminds me of Cooks . Rather see a bigger WR compliment Lamb a YAC a tackle breaker Tre Harris Ole Miss . Dart finds him all over the field a fallback pick would be Savion Williams TCU

Get Harris at WR & Sampson at RB and a development QB like McCord and the rest of the draft should go D .

One guy I like on Day 2 is Patrick Bryant. I think he’s got sneaky #1 ceiling potential.

If you want any that yac receiver look no further then Burden, he is the best in the class in that trait

McMillan falling to 12 is not as crazy as one might think. Especially if he does not run well at the combine. I think the LSU kid, Brian Thomas, would have been the number one wide receiver in this class if he came out this season instead of in the 20s like last draft. I really don’t like this receiver class early.

Preach. If you stack these guys up to previous draft classes they fall short. The value starts in round 2 at WR.

Listen brother, I know Pauline is a well trusted insider but I am not sure if any of these guys are better than what we have. At best it will take time for these kids to get in the reciever rotation. Frankly it’s downright disrespectful to say Burden would walk in being the second best receiver on the roster to CeeDee.
