I got a feeling that if JF comes here it won't be for long...I just don't think Garret, or Jerry, will put up with his antics..........

Yeah you're likely right but Jerry has the personnel in place he'll put a leash on him and keep it there FJF screws up he'll be gone and what haverwe lost maybe a6 rounder

Jerry will move up to grab one of the top 2. WI'll likely grab JF , and why not little cost huge potential with our OL. Not to mention he has the baby sitters in place.

Anybody that thinks dallas is going qb in the first 2 rounds is going to be let down.

Then I'll be let down. They have the highest pick they have had in years. Why not spend it on the most important position on the field especially when one is needed?

They probably should because I think romo is done next season.

I like Goff and Lynch. I think Goff may be a little better down the line. Seems more comfortable in the pocket. Either way, im prepared for the front office to draft a RB and sign Johnny Football and suggest theyve addressed all the team needs.

I'm going to go with Black Bart will be our future QB. Either him or Sponge Bob SquarePants.

Is there a common attribute between QBs we've brought in through FA or the draft that would allow us to narrow down the possibilities?

To me, Carson Wentz would have been a Heisman candidate and the No. 1 pick if he had been taller at high school. He had a late growth spurt. There aren't a lot of pretty-strong-armed 6-5 guys who can run and cut and who carry a 4.0 GPA.

Not sure why anyone would want Manziel. Lacks all the freak physical attributes many QBs have, lacks discipline and desire to get better, and isn't a very good QB on the field. Yet people still think he can be a good QB. I have no idea why.

I'm with you. But we'd need a mid-1st round pick to secure him. Can't risk waiting until our 2nd round pick. That means either trading up 10-15 spots or trading back 10-15 spots.

Or we could just say, this is our guy and draft him at 4. Although I'm good with either trade scenario.

In the end, there are 20 guys in the world at any one time who can sufficiently read an NFL defense. Whatever else his faults, JFF seems to be able to do it.

It's still way too early. All of these guys are going to get picked apart through film and through combine, and will rise and fall a bunch. Manziel was at one time the first pick in the entire draft, then a second or third rounder, before finally ending up a late first. One things for sure, if either of these guys do end up being labeled a franchise type they won't be coming here. Also as I've said elsewhere I have no idea why the Chargers wouldn't be in the QB business with Rivers being 34 if we have been supposedly in need of an heir apparent for 2-3 years now.
