Who is the future at QB?

Very risky taking a Qb this year in the first round. I wouldn't touch that.

I haven't watched much college ball this year, but if there is a decent prospect , I hope the scouts find him.

Since the Cowboys have numerous draft picks this year, I would like to see them pick two QB's in this year draft just like Washington did in 2012 when they picked RGIII and Kirk Cousins.

It's a hit or miss with some of these guys you never really know. I would rather take a chance on FA for now.

I'm good with that. 3rd or 4th round likely. And we pick 4th in the 1st and get a monster DL or OL (Bosa or Tunsil if still there). A Rb or WR in the second.

I would trade back for a high pick next year to bundle for McCaffery. Getting a quality QB in the middle rounds to study behind Romo seems a smart move. If not, then JFF to fill that role. None of the QBs in this draft are really worth a top 5 pick.

That is true and for all we know Wentz could be even worse. No matter who Dallas takes at 4 that player could potential not pan out. Does not change the fact that you go out grade the players and select guys who feel are the best. If Goff and Lynch are grading out higher then to me it makes sense to go after them. It is like saying this CB grades out much higher than this CB but I will take the lesser of the 2 because Claiborne was a bust.

I agree. You have to trust in your scouts and when is time to pick you grab the best player on the board. If that is Goff grab him, if it's trading back and getting Elliot RB and Wentz then do that, if Ramsey or Bosa is that guy you take him.

Players rise and fall and they're bust and stars everywhere round. Just need to pick the right choice

It's a down year for QBs and Dallas has a need at every position group, that 2nd QB would have to be one of the 6th round picks,,,

The FAs sure stunk it up this year. If the scouts think a QB is worth a first tune pick, it is okay with me.

Brandon Allen of Arkansas with one of our 6th's would be ideal. I think he could develop into a solid backup.

Im sold on both Goff and Lynch, but I'd prefer Lynch......

Goff is from CAL
Lynch is from Memphis

I think Goff is thee most polished QB coming out since Luck and I see Cle or SF selecting him in the first round...Lynch needs some time to develop as a number three on a roster for a couple of years

Good analysis.........I think Goff is the most pro-ready QB in this draft, but Lynch may have the biggest upside from a pure athletic stand point.

Goff could probably start day 1, but Lynch could use a year or two as an understudy.

For Dallas, Lynch makes the most sense since we don't need a day 1 starter.

There are two quarterbacks with top 10 ranking. It doesn't get a whole lot better than that. Do you want to have another big time losing season to get back in this position?

Goff or Lynch in the First.. Rb in the second. Braxton Miller in the 3rd. Perfect solution. QB of the future. Stud Rb.. Backup QB and Speed Wr in 3 picks.
