Who is the future at QB?

True but we don't have Harbaugh as the coach ;)

Garrett wouldn't have lasted one season in SF he would've never been hired in the first place. We've lost 10 games with 2 veteran backups that have won multiple games with other teams. The Cowboys are the last team other than maybe Cleveland where Kap would have a chance to resurrect his career.

Ok I think I misunderstood your original point because I totally agree with you lol :D

Kap will end up somewhere, if the brownies and cowboys pass on him.

Man, I hope they don't go this route.....

Yes, wasting money, wasted draft pick (playing the odds) and unwanted national scrutiny. WHY ?? Please be boring and pick a good player at 4 (prefer QB but not locked in) and improve the roster. Don't need to create drama.

You take the guy with the elite physical attributes the right attitude, and the willingness to work hard. You take the guy with the persona of an NFL quarterback, as indicated by leadership attributes, competitive nature, and instinctive mentality of a quarterback.

You can teach mechanics and reading defenses.

Lynch is like that perfect physical speciman who looks like a world beater but lacks the instinctive mentality, the love for the position of quarterbacks. Those kind of guys underperformil when faced with equal physicality, guys like Bruce Carter, Ryan Leaf, and Trent Richardson.

From what I understand, in high school he was switched from RB to QB because his coach told him he was too tall to be a RB. I don't see that self confident, fighter pilot, slightly cocky attitude from him that I think is inherent in most successful NFL quarterbacks.

Goff is the real deal. The bad news is that he will climb to the #2 or #3 spot before the draft.

We need to talk to the Titans or Browns re trading up to get Goff. Our early 2nd round pick gives us bargaining leverage. One if these teams will take it to drop back to #4.

Because of the way college football is going, NFL style QBs are getting rarer every year. Next years class will be worse.

Simple laws if economics mean when there are shortages, the price rises. It may be that in the current market you need to spend 2 high picks to get one potential starting QB.

Note that the QB we draft will play most offensive snaps this year. Romo's body has given up. People need to get the idea that we've 2-3 years to develop a QB out of their heads - its delusional.

Are you serious you want to trade up from #4 giving up our second round pick to draft Goff so he can sit for 2-3 years??? Thank goodness some of you aren't running this team.

Goff wont be sitting for 3 years. More likely he'll be starting by week 3.

You're banking on him being ready to backup Romo as a rookie and that Romo will end up injured for most of the season again. You don't give up the 4th overall pick in the draft and a second rounder for a backup QB when you're a 4-12 team that needs immediate help at other positions. With you running the draft all we'll come up with is a possible backup QB who costs us our first 2 picks and nothing else unless we hit on a player in the third round or later.

I don't think that either of these two guys are really top 5 players. I do think if we decide to trade back
Wentz is the QB I would trade picks to come back into the first round to get. This kid is smart, big,
can run and avoid the rush. He's a much bigger version of Romo. Go get him Jerry!!!

Just curious how many full North Dakota games you have watched this year? My guess on the over under is 10 plays.

A first round pick with good preseason preparation should be able to do ok starting. Plenty have done it in recent years. Yes there is a learning curve, but they're generally better than a JAG career backup. I think drafting a first rounder is Romos best chance to get a ring before he retires.

5 full games last year and 2 games this year. I've also read extensively about him from several blogs who spend lots of time
reviewing tape. I know I've seen him lots more that the guy from Memphis.
