I don't even remember that INT on Staubach it was overshadowed by much more damning plays later on. What cost the Cowboys the game was Smith's drop in the end zone, Whites fumble on the kickoff and the phantom PI call on Benny Barnes that was so bogus that the NFL admitted blowing the call which resulted in a rule change on incidental contact only a few months later. Those 3 plays had a direct impact on the outcome of the game because they couldn't be overcome.

You may not remember it, but I certainly do...Dallas was in position to at least get a field goal (Septien was a pretty solid kicker) and take a 17-14 lead, and equally important, take time off the game clock...Now, I won't tell you the Steelers would not have took the ensuing kickoff and scored, but it would have most certainly have been more difficult for them...However, a Dallas TD there instead of a turnover alters the outcome of the game dramatically by making the game a tie at 21 going into the 3rd quarter and the impact of Smith's drop is reduced...Still, Jackie's drop is unacceptable in my book just as Randy's fumble is...

Didn't think he was very good and feel like he latched on to the cancer that was TO and kept it in that locker room even after TO left.

He was a decent player who seemed like he cared. Diddnt get the bad vibe from him. That is why this thread is interesting.

That's an interesting perspective. I never got a bad vibe from Bradie to be honest, always thought he seemed like a solid leader.

So I grew up in the 90s and I don't really understand all the Deion hate. I know he was a controversial player, but why the hate from Dallas fans?

I recognize JG but who are the other two?

Seriously? That's his dad in the middle. Looks just like him. Jim Garrett.

And just like the Uncle in Christmas Vacation that smoked cigars!

I'm surprised Jason Garrett's name hasn't come up more often because if he hadn't played for the Cowboys we wouldn't be stuck with him as the head coach.

Shante Carver.

He was the first post-Jimmy draft pick and a sign of horrible things to come for the next 18 years.

Also, we traded up with the 49ers to get him. Their war room busted up laughing once they saw Carver was the pick. They had a 4th round grade on him.

So in reality, my answer is Jerry Jones. He has ruined our team.

I'm young, so I guess the most hated players I've actually seen are Roy WIlliams (WR) Jeff Heath.

Here is one example from the '94 NFC title game:
