Eastwood and Hackman are always great. Especially when they play in the same movie. Unforgiven being one!

I really liked Hoffman in Charlie Wilson's War. From the movies I remember with him, he always seems to play the same part though. Almost Famous, Wilsons War. Usually a scrubby dude who is intelligent. (I've only seen a few of his movies)

watch Before the Devil Knows You're Dead

he's psychopathic in that one

I don't really care for DeNiro, to me all his roles, even his comedies, are basically the same character...

Al Pacino's been like that for the past decade and a half

it's the same walk and hyperactivity in every movie, even in Heat

Joe Pesci is another actor I like. Though not of late. His older stuff was great. Lethal Weapons, The Super, Home Alone, Casino, Wiseguys, etc

Is this your pen? :laugh2:

Considering my avi, I have to say my favorite actress is Angela Bassett. Just produces quality, well-rounded performances. There's another actress that I like alot, but I can't think of her name at the moment.

I also like Samuel L. Jackson. Primarily because he does so many different types of movies.

Pretty much every movie she's been in, I've liked her performances.

The only movie that didn't really require much skill for her was the Stella movie.

She was very good as Tina Turner. She whooped up on Larry big time. :laugh2:

If you search Youtube for "Casino - Is this your pen?" You can take this pen and stick it up your @#$*%#! @#$!

Denzel is great. And Hackman is amazingly versatile. He's never bad.

And someone's mention of Robin Williams was right on. He is so natural as the goofy zany guy that I think the fact that he was able to pull off Good Will Hunting, Dead Poet, etc at all speaks well of him. It seems he of all people deserves more credit for versatility just because he seems so naturally NOT those characters.

Robert Duvall

Morgan Freeman

Um...why? They just seem natural and are interesting to listen to and watch.

I used to think so until I watched Analyze This. What a horrible movie.

Not good - I agree - he never should have taken that part.

I like Gary Oldman, he can appear so different in some movies but always does a good job IMO...
