You mean the experts that calked zekes demise and new pollard was better?

Yah it would piss us off
You have been butt hurt about Zeke since the beginning. He wasn't who you wanted so you cried constantly about him.
When he played well, you vanished like a cockroach when the light is turned on.
Go away with your opinion. It means absolutely nothing to me.
Garbage.

I’m all for a trade for an OG and/or BIG RB. We’re close but any ability at all to be able to convert 4th and 1-5, would be great. I’m a big fan of the Cowboys ability to draft but I’d be lying if I didn’t say this is very 2009 to me.

I’m at a 8 with my panic for the run game. After training camp I’m all for a 1-3 round trade for a OG and/bulldozer RB.
Cowboys' first game of the 2023 season will be either September 10th or 11th.
That equates to nearly four months that the team's coaching staff and FO has to evaluate OG and RB candidates in OTAs, mincamps, training camp, and preseason.
No reason at all to be in a "panic mode" on the second day of May.

Or Dallas could finally pony up and go all in by trading for Derrick Henry.

This team would literally become a true Super Bowl contender overnight and you wouldn’t have to worry as much about the blocking with King Henry toting the rock.

You would definitely be putting yourself in a precarious situation when it came to the cap, but it is simply time that Dallas goes all in.

Its MMs show now my brother, no longer a KM showcase.
MM is very happy with what he has to work with now.
Jones was brought in with hope to salvage his career, but this FO already knows he is top payed camp fodder.
We will see

Translation: "I want the Cowboys to hinder themselves and waste a roster spot so I can win an internet bum fight."
What fight would he win though? Watching the horrid zeke fall even further down hill?

How do you know he’s happy?

Not sure where this obsession with short yardage came from. It’s really not that dependent on the RB, it’s much more dependent on the OL.

You may have an attempt or two here and there where the RB has to play hero ball and make the play, but it’s 95% line play. Which with Tyler inside shouldn’t be too hard.

Also, Zeke has been stopped plenty of times in the backfield on short runs these past few years. How many times have we seen him fail to break a tackle and run in quicksand? He’s not the automatic short yardage first down machine he was at one point.

By all measurable metrics Zeke was an extremely replaceable player. His only benefits are ones we can’t quite see/measure. Locker room leadership and toughness. I guess throw blocking in there but none of these things are worth cutting a young and more explosive guy for.

There’s no need for a slow blocking short yardage running back, if there was FB’s would still be employed league wide.

I think Elliot will be back on a cheap deal with player incentives. If not we picked up a undrafted RB. But watching his tape I didn’t see him getting a lot of contact or bouncing off a lot of tackles. He seems to follow his blockers and hit holes. And they threw a lot to him. I can see is finding use for him. But he isn’t Marion Barber.
No

With the backs we currently have and some of the concerns on the OL we better not think about running the ball on 4th and 2. You can’t have someone dancing around back there looking to bounce it outside trying to find a crease, you have to be able to run over some people.
Dallas needs power. Zeke ain't it.
